MOVE » SIT » WRITE is a podcast that fuses movement, meditation and writing into a practice that invites listeners to take a closer look at what it is they truly want and don't want, so they can make well-informed choices about how they heal, grow and interact with the world around them.
In this episode, I offer a writing prompt that asks you to consider what you will have to let go of in order to forgive yourself or someone else. It's a pretty short, but powerful exercise. In this episode, we will use a simple meditation (with props!) to create the softness needed to begin the journey into forgiveness. If you're interested in learning more about MOVE » SIT » WRITE The Challenge, follow this link: http://www.tatumfjerstad.com/move-sit-write-challenge
Forgiveness is everything and it is super hard to do. It can take months or even years to really let something go. In this episode, I provide you with a short practice you can use when you are ready to get started on the path of forgiveness. The poses are simple and ask you to locate the softness within. It is from that place that you will be able to begin your journey to freedom from grudges, ruminating and revenge. I also go off on a post-election rant and, if you're interested in MOVE » SIT » WRITE The Challenge, follow this link to learn more: http://www.tatumfjerstad.com/move-sit-write-challenge
Gratitude can be tricky and feel like a struggle sometimes. In this episode we'll explore how that shows up for us as we write short thank you letters to certain aspects of our lives.
Recruiting the breath and a few mudras, we'll use meditation to explore the process of acknowledging our gratitude and sharing it with others. This should leave you feeling pretty warm and fuzzy.
