Today while out shopping I had to give one of the people that support me my pin code for my banking. While I know for a fact they wouldn’t do anything with it and they’ve probably forgotten it now, I still don’t have as much privacy as an able-bodied person would and that needs to change. People with disabilities deserve as much privacy as everyone else and we as a society need to make that happen.
In this tutorial I teach you how to crochet a fun and quick gift for somebody.
This is how I craft as a blind person. I can't figure out how to change the photo for the cover art to get the picture I was talking about in.
This is why its so important to describe photos you have uploaded to social media.

I thought today to come in and explain how blindness contributes to me being a hypochondriac. I hope that this post help someone in someway shape or form. As always if you have any questions or feedback feel free to comment.
Here is my diagnosis story. It is probably close to many other blind peoples stories who have received a diagnosis of a developmental disability as well. Because of a character limit I’m not able to post the links to the episodes I talked about. I’m going to look more into that and will try to figure out a way to do this.
I know the episode is a mess but heres my personal story on how I decided to employ my own support staff, or go with an organization. My decision is my decision, and your decision should be your decision.
Enjoy this educational/entertaining episode! Both of us trusted me alone in her house, or this wouldn't have been a thing, before anyone thinks that being alone wasn't my choice! It was a great morning so far and I'm glad I got the opportunity to experience it!
This was the process that I took and the next steps for becoming eligible and applying for developmental services Ontario services.

This is the process I went through to become eligible for adult developmental services in Ontario Canada. The process may be different for you as every situation is unique. I'm not a professional please talk to a professional about the process you need to take. I'm posting this so that you or someone you know can have a better understanding of the process you need to go through to gain access to more services for people with disabilities. I hope that this helps you to easier understand the process you may have to take.
As a population we depend so much on power, especially if you have vision. I'm grateful I'm blind. What are you grateful for?

Creating these blogs for meet the blind month are definitely more challenging than I expected.
As always any questions for future topics are welcomed and appreciated. Employment is very challenging for people with disabilities to find and maintain and even more so if you are a person with a visual impairment. Happy national disability employment month!
It happens more often than not somebody well-meaning asks me if I have a drivers license when I need to show personal identification
It takes less than five minutes to do this, but yet so little people do it. Contributing to this will empower a world of inclusion for those with disabilities. As always if you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
The whole experience was awkward and I really didn’t know how to handle it at the time. What would you guys have done in the situation? Please when meeting a blind person remember the moral of the story they probably do not want to feel your face.
Meeting a blind person is just like meeting a person with vision except there are a few extra things that we may need from you.
In fact we are not all friends however a lot of people assume just because I am blind that I am friends with every other blind person
Have you never heard of Meet The Blind month? Now you have. What do you think about it?
