Eccentric Millionaire's Bizarre Baby Contest in Depression-Era CanadaIn this episode of Canada Is Boring, Rhys Waters and Jesse Harley dive into the unbelievable true story of Charles Vance Miller, a wealthy and eccentric Toronto lawyer whose bizarre will triggered one of the strangest competitions in Canadian history: The Great Stork Derby.Miller, a successful Toronto lawyer, O'Keefe Brewery investor, and racehorse owner, used his fortune to play elaborate pranks that tested people's greed, morality, and hypocrisy. But his greatest “joke” came after his death in 1926, when his will offered a massive cash prize to the married couple in Ontario who had the most children over a ten-year period—during the Great Depression, when families were already struggling to survive. For premium content, socials, merch, to leave a voicemail or message us go to canadaisboring.com Hosted on Acast. We caught up with Fogal while he was working with Team Canada's under-18 women's team, but he also works with PWHL Toronto and has been in the OHL with Owen Sound, and he shared advice on the importance of building a foundation -- and what that looks like at different ages -- consistent terminology, the biomechanics of good movement, adding game realism and decision-making to drills, working with multiple goalies and so much more.In the Parent Playbook, presented by Stop It Goaltending U the App, Hutch welcomes you to the Goalie (Parent) Union with his top-10 tips (actually top-11, with a bonus) for new goalie parents going into their first season. We also review the latest Pro Reads, presented by Vizual Edge, featuring Eric Comrie with a great breakdown of a late-game 6-on-5 and how to manage movement patterns and read releases even when you get a little behind a play, with a hat tip to Connor Hellebuyck for some of the advice he shares. And in our weekly gear segment we go to The Hockey Shop Source for Sports for a look at the Vaughn Ion Pro pads and gloves, which, counter to the name, is actually a second price-point line that still comes with plenty of top-end features.

In this episode of Canadian Macro, Simon and Dan are joined by Ben Rabidoux and Ron Butler for a wide-ranging discussion on the renewed U.S.-Canada trade tensions and what they could mean for the Canadian economy. They discuss why the trade war could weigh on consumer confidence, business investment, housing activity and key sectors like autos, agriculture, energy and manufacturing. The conversation also covers how political rhetoric, counter-tariffs and uncertainty around future U.S. policy could keep buyers and businesses on the sidelines. Ben breaks down what he is seeing in the Canadian housing market, including why parts of Ontario may be moving closer to a bottom, why housing bottoms tend to be a multi-year process, and how weak consumer confidence, affordability challenges and falling new supply are shaping the outlook. Ron joins the discussion to explain what is happening on the mortgage front, including why more borrowers are moving toward variable rates, how household stress is showing up in refinancing and debt consolidation, and why power-of-sale activity could continue rising into 2027. The episode also covers the K-shaped economy, weakening consumer spending, Canadian bank risks, mortgage fraud, potential U.S. pressure on Canadian financial institutions, and why the next phase of the trade war could have major implications for markets, housing and the broader economy. This Friday's show is packed with political chaos, viral moments, and some genuinely unsettling stories. Trump's fight with Canada reaches a new level as he trolls Mark Carney, takes aim at Canadian trade policies, and renames Lake Ontario “Lake America,” triggering backlash from Canadian leaders and Democrats at home. The Chicks also dig into the growing controversy surrounding Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro's claims about measles deaths after local officials raised questions about the reported causes of death. Then, Sam Altman and major AI companies issue an urgent warning about cyber defense, sparking a much bigger conversation about artificial intelligence, automation, and just how many American jobs could disappear in the coming years.Later, the Lindsay Clancy murder trial takes center stage as prosecutors deliver their closing argument and lay out their case that Clancy understood right from wrong when her three children were killed.Plus: Abdul El-Sayed's deleted Green New Deal posts resurface, Gavin Newsom faces questions about his property dealings, Kamala Harris hints at another run, Ben Shapiro mocks Tucker Carlson, and the latest conservative media infighting gets even messier. For a limited time only, receive 20% off your entire Laundry Sauce order when you use code CHICKS20 at https://LaundrySauce.com/Chicks20Save an additional 10% off practical food for your pantry with the ReadyWise 4-Can Protein Bundle at https://ReadyWise.com with promo code CHICKS10.Make the switch and feel the difference of truly fast, modern antivirus protection with Webroot— for a limited time, save 60% when you go to https://WebRoot.com/ChicksSubscribe and stay tuned for new episodes every weekday!Follow us here for more daily clips, updates, and commentary:YoutubeFacebookInstagramTikTokXLocalsMore InfoWebsite
Today's Headlines: Donald Trump signed an executive order renaming Lake Ontario to Lake America — yes, really — musing that maybe he'll rename the Atlantic and Pacific next, while Canadian PM Mark Carney responded that "Ontario" is a 400-year-old Wendat word meaning "the lake is beautiful, the lake is big," which is a more dignified response than the moment deserved. Back to actual issues, Iran has been running an AI-powered disinformation operation on Instagram and Facebook, posing as average Americans to spread political misinformation about immigration and the Israel-Palestine war, with Meta taking down 35 accounts — which is a lot of effort from a country we're supposedly defeating militarily. The military situation is genuinely alarming across every front: a sailor who jumped off the USS Abraham Lincoln in what his wife describes as a suicide attempt — after his paternity leave requests were repeatedly denied while his wife gave birth — is now facing disciplinary action for "malingering" and AWOL charges for being medically evacuated. Pete Hegseth fired the Army's top general days after the general was advised to drop an investigation into how Kid Rock got a military helicopter fly by so he could wave at it on social media. Oh but there's more, Jennifer Hegseth, Pete's wife and former Fox News producer, has been attending classified intelligence meetings with foreign officials with no confirmed security clearance — she was in the Houthi PC small group chat. Five service members told MSNBC they're being asked to violate international law by targeting civilian infrastructure, and applications to leave as conscientious objectors have surged since the Iran war started. The US is also "beyond critically low" on Patriot missile interceptors in Europe — because of the Iran war — right as the CIA director had to fly to Moscow in person to tell Russia not to attack NATO. A Navy engineer's rape lawsuit against the ship captain who allegedly entered her room with a master access key was dismissed by a judge who said it should be treated as a workplace compensation claim. To add to the overall craziness, ICE arrested 49,000 people in July alone, with less than 4% having any prior violent conviction. And finally, Fauci's prosecution is apparently going nowhere, which is the best news of the day. ## The Scott Adams School – Friday, August 28, 2026Fri-YAY! Erica and Owen close out the week with a look back at what somehow became an unofficial theme around **marriage, gender roles, family, and children**, with the Lindsay Clancy trial bringing many of those conversations to the surface.Today, we'll hear from **Scott Adams on marriage**, continue the discussion, and also cover some very exciting developments involving **the lake formerly known as Ontario**… because apparently even bodies of water can get dragged into the news cycle now.Plus, whatever other stories find their way into the conversation before we call it a week.### A Note About the ChatWe want The Scott Adams School community to remain a place where people can disagree, debate, joke around, and still treat one another like human beings. You are absolutely welcome to disagree with a host, a guest, or another person in the chat. **Personal attacks, insults, and repeated sniping are not permitted.**The Scott Adams moderating team is actively moderating the chat. If you personally attack or insult a host, guest, or fellow viewer:**First offense:** Your account may be temporarily muted. You will still be able to watch the show, but you will not be able to comment for a period of time.**If it happens again after you return:** You may be permanently blocked from the channel.Everyone here is here for the right reasons. Debate the ideas. Disagree with the opinions. Just treat the people respectfully and help us keep this a friendly, interesting place to spend the morning.
It's been a week. Canada/US relations have never been so low. Attacks on each other's trade strategies, attacks on our sovereignty, even a pathetic, rather lame attack on one of the Great Lakes that shares our joint border. Sounds like enough for a final, special summer episode of Good Talk. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.

A chunk of Himalayan ice snapped off at about 17,000 feet and turned into what Nepal's disaster chief called a “tsunami from the sky.” Watch what happened. Around 8:40 a.m. Wednesday, the collapse smashed into a valley, dammed the Lhende River, then let go. A 33-foot wall of water, mud, and debris tore down the Bhote Koshi and Trishuli. Villages were wiped out. About 25 miles of road and 19 bridges are gone. At least 273 people are dead. More than 1,300 are missing. U.S. Geological Survey first reported a 4.4 earthquake north of Kathmandu, then said the seismic reading was the glacier and the debris flow — no quake. This is not a distant postcard. Nepalese officials say 63 American citizens are among the missing, including a California couple on a Mount Kailash pilgrimage. More than 5,000 army and police are in the search. In this episode, we kick things off by examining a major breakthrough in the often-painful journey from AI demo to live operations. Third-party logistics provider Kenco has successfully deployed six supply chain AI agents into production with DeepFabric in just three months, a stark contrast to broader industry trends where Gartner expects more than forty percent of agentic AI projects to be canceled by the end of twenty twenty-seven. The partnership is now scaling aggressively, with twenty agents planned across North America over the next twelve months and audit-spend reductions of forty-five percent already achieved.Next, we explore the critical role of border security in cross-border supply chain integrity. Canada Border Services Agency officers seized approximately three hundred eighty-five kilograms of suspected cocaine from a commercial truck at Blue Water Bridge in Point Edward, Ontario on August thirteenth. The driver was arrested and charged with importing a controlled substance and possession for trafficking, underscoring the ongoing enforcement challenge at busy commercial border crossings. Finally, we discuss the ocean freight sector bracing for a massive wave of new capacity that could severely pressure container rates. The global containership orderbook has reached an orderbook-to-fleet ratio of roughly thirty-eight point seven percent, meaning vessels on order represent nearly two-fifths of the existing fleet's capacity. With fleet growth running at about four point two percent against expected container-trade growth of only three to four percent, industry analysts warn that vessel supply is likely to outpace demand, potentially releasing significant downward pressure on freight rates once current geopolitical disruptions normalize. Donald Trump's rage at Canada is growing more unhinged. He just posted a deranged threat to rename Lake Ontario with the phrase “Lake America.” But it gets worse: He also intimated that the U.S. won't be “doing much business with Ontario any longer.” That would be seismic, but here's the thing: Trump appears to actually want this outcome. That's why he's plunged us into a trade war with our ally. But it's backfiring: Canada just released its list of American products that will face retaliatory tariffs, and it appears aimed at harming local economies in ways that will hurt GOP incumbents and candidates. We previously reported this would create problems for Republicans. Now that it's happening, we recorded an episode about it with Democratic strategist Christina Reynolds, a veteran of midterms. We discuss why the trade war could have outsized impact in the Midwest, how this might badly hurt GOP chances, what the Midwest's political transformation reveals about the decline of Trumpism, and how Democrats can seize this moment going forward. Using glass as a medium to capture and refract light, David Yeshia seeks to freeze moments of transition, combining myriad elements to manipulate their visual and symbolic effects. Also a metaphor for his life at the time, Yeshia was smashing glass and rebuilding the fragments into something beautiful. A new breed of "artrepreneur," he emerged from the Covid pandemic bringing art out of the gallery and into the public marketplace by developing accessible and affordable works. A self-taught Canadian glass artist known for his signature fused glass techniques, Yeshia has developed innovative methods including his "Glass Netting" technique, "Glascade" and signature "Free Mosaic" forms exploring glass as both structure and light. He was nominated for the Emerging Glass Artist of the Year Award by the Glass Art Society and has created sculptural works for government commissions and collectors across Canada. His work is sold at Walt Disney World, and his process-focused storytelling has attracted over 400,000 followers across social media, with his videos reaching tens of millions of views. Yeshia attended Concordia University Fine Arts, graduating in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a double major in Theater and Religious Studies. In 2017, as an exotic mushroom cultivator in Montreal, Yeshia's business was hit hard by the Covid pandemic's impact on the restaurant and food industries. At 30 years old, he moved back in with his parents in the countryside just outside of Pembroke, Ontario—emotionally drained, uncertain about the future, and feeling like a failure. Dejected, without direction, he began to experiment with glass in the stained glass studio of his father, Jeffrey Melamed, an architect turned stained glass artist. Says Yeshia: "When I was struggling and trying to rebuild my life, my family rallied around me. Their enthusiasm for my work gave me the encouragement and confidence to keep going. My mother began attending markets, my father helped with displays, shows, and accounting, and my sister brought her creativity and many great product ideas." Yeshia's business Artglas has expanded to Markham, Ontario, and now employs a staff of seven. Early on, a pivotal meeting with Disney's Keith Bryan inspired the artist's early series of fused glass art and eventually led to his ongoing contract to design and produce ornaments for Disney. In September 2026, Artglas will return to exhibit in "The Transparent Breath," an International exhibition of glass jewelry held at Venice Glass Week. Specializing in experimental fusing techniques to create contemporary glass jewelry that represents the Canadian identity, Yeshia's Venice collection showcases his unique talents of incorporating 24-karat gold and silver into the glass. "This will be our fifth time at Venice Glass Week. It was an honor to be amongst some of the greatest glass artists of our time, in one of the world's most historic hubs of the arts," said Yeshia. "And it was overwhelming connecting with artists from all over the world, sharing our work and creativity in such an inspiring environment." In 2027, Yeshia's company will also expand its online education and subscriber platforms, open a gallery and second studio space, and create more room for one-of-a-kind and conceptual work. Artglas also has new commercial projects in development, including a Disney concept still awaiting approval. Says Yeshia: "As Artglas grew, I had to learn how to wear many different hats, including artist, maker, employer, marketer, content creator, educator, salesperson, and business owner, while still preserving the meaning, symbolism, and quality of the work."

In this bonus episode, Fritz shares key lessons from his week in Ontario as the invited speaker for the 13th Triggs International Premium Vinifera Lecture Series, hosted by Brock University's Cool Climate Enology and Viticulture Institute. Speaking directly to cool-climate vineyard owners and managers, Fritz explains why nutrient management is a pressing topic for Canadian growers, particularly in non-irrigated vineyards that rely on ground-applied fertilizers. He walks through current practices in Ontario, contrasts them with fertigation approaches used in British Columbia, and highlights where growers have strong foundations and where there is room to refine their approach. Listeners will come away with specific ways to fine-tune sampling, fertilizer timing, and nutrient sources to support vine balance and fruit quality in cool-climate vineyards. In this episode, you will hear: Why the Triggs Lecture Series matters for cool-climate vineyards How Ontario growers currently manage nutrients without irrigation When and why to add leaf blade sampling and bloom-time tissue tests Smarter timing for soil vs foliar nitrogen, magnesium, and boron applications Common nutrient issues in Ontario and better options for addressing them Follow and Review: If you enjoyed this episode, be sure to follow the podcast and leave a 5-star review on Apple Podcasts! Hey, it's jD here. August 20th, 2026. Bath, Ontario. A stone coach house west of Kingston that the band turned into a recording room, where "Phantom Power", "Music @ Work", "We Are The Same", and "Man Machine Poem" were all made. Ten years to the day since the last show. This is the last one. Yer Hipstories: Reflections From The Final Tour ran the length of the Man Machine Poem Tour, city by city, Victoria east to Kingston, and it ends here, in the room where the last record was made. Three fans at the table, and not one of them tells August 20th the same way. One was on the floor. One was in the square with 25,000 people. One was on his couch in Brockville with a bottle of wine and a good reason.
Trump has since announced that on January 1st, 2027, tariffs on Canadian cars, trucks, auto parts, and steel go to 50 percent. Carney says Canada will match them dollar for dollar. CNN's Daniel Dale ran the fact check. Canadian unemployment is 6.4 percent and has been falling for three months, not 10 and rising. Canada does 72 percent of its trade with the US, not 95. And the trade deficit runs on crude oil imports, with roughly 97 percent of American agricultural exports entering Canada tariff free. Ontario Premier Doug Ford responded in terms Hawk wishes American institutions would use, and Trump answered with a post about Ford's late brother. Steve Forbes lays out what an actual trade war between the two countries would look like. Elbows up. Episode 433: On August 16, 1995, Avis Ottey came home to her townhouse in Scarborough, Ontario, expecting to find her daughters packing for the future. Instead, she found nineteen-year-old Marsha Ottey and sixteen-year-old Tamara "Tami" Ottey murdered in the basement. Marsha was just two days away from leaving for Arkansas State University on an athletic scholarship she had worked years to earn. She had also confided something chilling to her mother while packing her bags: "If anything should happen to me, it's Rohan." What followed was a seven-month investigation that stretched beyond the murders of the Ottey sisters. Two unsolved sexual assaults, a seemingly unrelated killing at a Toronto subway station, that of TTC employee Dimitrija Trajceski, DNA evidence, and the largest manhunt in Toronto Police history ultimately exposed the truth behind a crime driven by obsession, control, and extraordinary violence. The trade relationship between the U.S. and Canada has taken another sharp turn. Sky-high U.S. tariffs on some Canadian goods took effect over the weekend after trade talks between the two countries fell apart. President Trump is now threatening another 50 percent tariff on Canadian automobiles, auto parts and steel starting next year. Canada says it will retaliate, and Ontario Premier Doug Ford warned that Canada could cut off electricity and critical minerals to the U.S. if the conflict worsens. That's a particularly important story here in Minnesota, where Canada is a main trading partner and where people and businesses regularly cross the border in both directions. Livio Di Matteo is a professor of economics at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario, right over Minnesota's border with Canada. He joined Minnesota Now host Nina Moini to talk about Minnesota and Canada's trade relationship.
Canada's prime minister, Mark Carney, has confirmed he'll impose retaliatory tariffs on the United States next month, saying trade talks collapsed because Washington made unacceptable demands. Also on the programme, the editor-in-chief and a reporter from the US military newspaper Stars and Stripes have been fired for 'insubordination', South Korea's first container ship to trial the much shorter and safer route to Europe via the Arctic has begun its journey, and a look at the event dubbed the "Robot Olympics".Canada's Prime Minister Mark Carney speaks with the news media after he suspended trade negotiations with the United States, in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada August 22, 2026. Episode 285 explores how one woman's personal wake-up call transformed into a mission to improve the air we breathe
August 20th, 2016. The Rogers K-Rock Centre, Kingston, Ontario. Thirty songs. Three encores, which was not a thing they did. And a country that put down whatever it was holding.Ten years later, jD asked fifteen people one question. Not what they made of it. Not where it ranks. Just this: where were you.The answers do not go where you would expect. An airplane hangar outside Olympia, Washington. A garage door in the country north of Superior with fifty people camped in the yard. A smoker in Calgary that had been running since sunrise. A lakeside deck in upstate New York with a bottle of Macallan 12 on it and a great blue heron that keeps turning up in the shape of an album cover. An arena in Chicago where a man from Detroit stood in a Gord Downie shirt underneath a Tigers jersey, missing the whole thing on purpose, waiting to find out whether two sentences he had typed five days earlier had reached anybody. They had. That is all yer getting.Who's HereAdam from Tampa had never seen The Hip play a note and owned five of the records. At 7:55 he told his houseguests he would be back in either five minutes or two and a half hours, went upstairs, and typed the words CBC and The Tragically Hip into a search bar. What he did the following morning cost him the next four years.Andy from London was three weeks deep into Scotland with a speaking gig in Pennsylvania waiting on the Monday. He flew home without his family for exactly one day. Where he watched it, and who was running the sound there, is the part that still gets him.Brian from Canastota got hooked by a Saturday Night Live performance in 1995 and never came unhooked. Bose rig on the deck, the lake in front of him, and a heron that has been showing up in a very particular silhouette for years. His wife found him out there at two in the morning.Brock from Kitchener was in the lower bowl. A ticket scanner went down and he ended up sitting inside a nearly empty K-Rock Centre while eight thousand people waited outside. Ten years on he has still never watched the broadcast. Not once, not one song.Colin from Winnipeg lost his mother and had his first child inside the same fortnight, and had to move a funeral to do it. He watched with a newborn who is ten years old now. He has a plan for the rewatch, and it involves all three kids.Dan from Buffalo and Colleen from Buffalo drove in from the Hamilton show with no tickets, no expectations, and their phones switched off at the border. Dan wandered down to look at a boat show at half past nine in the morning and got into a line without asking what the line was for. He was number twenty-eight.Duxoop from Toledo watched at home, alone, so that nobody could see him cry, pulling CBC down through a Windsor channel on Ohio cable. He knew twelve of the thirty songs that night. He is up to nineteen now, and the way he counts them is not the way you would count them.Greg from Tacoma spent the evening at his mother Rosalie's 79th birthday party in an airplane hangar, slipping off to a corner every ten minutes with a phone and no headphones. What he heard inside 'Grace, Too' that night he has never stopped hearing, and the people standing beside him in that hangar are a large part of why.Janice from Kitchener stopped for a photo at the Welcome to Kingston sign, signed the banners downtown, and walked into the arena at the exact moment it stopped letting anybody else in. She has a theory about how many people are eventually going to claim they were in that room.Jimmy from Detroit had tickets for the London and Toronto shows, and a promise to his wife that put him in Chicago on the 20th instead. Five days out he sat down and wrote two sentences on a message board. He will go to his grave believing somebody read them.Joanne from Thunder Bay had seen the August 12th show in Toronto and could not get to Kingston. A friend rigged a projector onto a garage door out in the country and fifty people camped in the yard to watch it. One song landed harder than everything around it, and it was not the closer.Spencer from Calgary made three racks of ribs, a couple dozen perogies by hand, and a house rule about side conversations. Gold glitter letters stuck to the fridge spelling out the songs he was hoping for. Then he walks the setlist album block by album block, and a decade later the surprises still surprise him.Steve from Toronto got a single ticket half an hour after they went on sale and watched from ten rows back. He has the sharpest disagreement in the whole episode, and it is not about the band. It is about whether the people watching it and the people inside it were even at the same event.Todd from Fort Mac says the words Fort Mac and 2016 and everybody already knows he means the fire. He watched at his grandfather's house in Louisdale, Cape Breton, with the family in from out west. It was the last time all of them were in that room together. What They Said"I'll start with the punchline, which was I was in an airplane hangar weeping." - Greg from Tacoma"I went by myself, but I was not alone." - Andy from London"When you're watching it on TV and Gord's breaking down at the end of the song, you feel completely helpless. But when you're at the show and that happens, you just start making as much noise as you know how to make to help your guy pull through." - Steve from Toronto"To me, it's a celebration of Canadian culture. And I know that was never the intention, but it's just always what it turned out to be." - Todd from Fort MacAbout That NightThirty songs at the Rogers K-Rock Centre. 'Fifty-Mission Cap' into 'Courage', 'Wheat Kings', and 'At the Hundredth Meridian' - four songs in and the whole country was already accounted for. Then 'Tired as Fuck', uncensored, on the national broadcaster. Then a thunderstorm nobody had been warned about. Then 'My Music at Work', 'Lake Fever', 'Toronto #4', and 'The Last of the Unplucked Gems', which is not a setlist, it is a dare. Three encores, closing on 'Ahead by a Century'. Setlist confirmed via setlist.fm.Fifteen people, one date, and not one of them tells it the same way. That is the whole point of this show, and Kingston is where it lands.GEDfest Toronto 2026Saturday, October 17th, 2026. The Horseshoe Tavern, Toronto, with Grace, 2 on the stage. Wendy Chan, CEO of Lode Gold Resources, joins Mining Stock Daily to break down the company's flagship Fremont Gold Mine project in Mariposa County, California — a fully patented, past-producing underground mine that's been sitting dormant since a 1942 wartime shutdown despite historical grades of 10.7 g/t gold. She walks through the recently updated mineral resource estimate (1.11 Moz Indicated at 1.84 g/t and 1.98 Moz Inferred at 1.86 g/t) and the incremental permitting approach the company is using to fast-track toward a 2027 pre-feasibility study. Chan also touches on the recently closed $9.7 million financing, AI-generated drill targets, and Lode Gold's broader portfolio, including the Dingman project in Ontario.

IndyCar's debut in Markham Ontario was WILD to say the least. We had on-track activities delayed, drivers pushing (and finding) the limits and full on physicality. Conor Daly was in Ontario to take in the action, and he joins Producer Bobby this week for a new episode of Speed Street. The guys recap the drama from the weekend and debate the polarizing hairpin turn, which had racers and spectators at odds. They also look ahead to this coming weekend in Washington D.C. and make some podium picks. Race winner Marcus Ericsson joins the show to chat about his team's gamble to refuel late in the race. Marcus explains he realized he had speed in the car early on and felt like he could make his way back to the front on the last stint. He also weighs in on the hairpin turn debate, stating he can see it both ways from both driver and fan perspectives. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Extraterrestrial Encounters: Vol 5 | Paranormal Podcast We're back with Extraterrestrial Encounters Volume 5,! We start with Lilli, a day-one listener from a small farming town in Ontario, who went out one night, blacked out, and woke up in the middle of a cornfield with no memory of how she got there, a story she'd been quietly filing under "weird thing that happened" for years before finally letting herself consider what it might actually mean. We have Bri's story that may be the perfect mix of ghost activity, UFO sighting, and Men in Black encounter. Then we got into Brett's story from 2024... a pulsing, breathing light outside his window, knocking he couldn't explain, and a detail so specific that Charlie literally got goosebumps.
