Doug Masiuk is a US based endurance runner with a passion for Type 1 Diabetes advocacy in the community. Living with Type 1 Diabetes for over 40 years has not stopped him chasing his goals in any way. Doug has crossed the American continent twice, once by foot, running the whole distance while reaching out to communities along the way and then cycling across, he then attempted to run across Australia enduring the harsh conditions in the Western Australian outback.
