Are you on the road to salvation? For it is by Grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God (Ephesians 2:8)However proceeding faith in Jesus Christ there must be repentance and a turning away from sin and an obedience to God the Father. We are also told to continually examine ourselves to see whether you are in the faith - test yourselves (2 Corinthians 13:5).
Obedience to God sometimes requires sacrifice on our part. In Romans 12:1 we are called to be a living sacrifice. Our obedience to Jesus Christ is a way to prove our faith is genuine. God continually testing our faith and Abraham is a good example of this. What is God asking you to sacrifice?
Jesus said in John 16:33, "In this world you will have trouble. But take heart, I have overcome the world." In this episode we are reminded that we should always give thanks and praise to God, regardless of what situation you're in right now. An encouragement to look head and press forward for the Lord our God is with you and He has overcome the world.
