Biweekly discussions regarding topics shown on my blog at seegoodthingswithkari.blogspot.com
Here we discuss the need to run full fledged toward Jesus' love for us. We discuss some of the barriers and mindsets that stand in the way.
This episode, we focus on the idea that we can do both! We can serve God, others, and remain in Him at the same time. We discuss the struggles faced with that and the success in surrendering it all to Him:)
Here I talk with Amber Irving of The Strong Home. We discuss the tight spot of choosing struggle over bowing. Choosing to meet God in the fire instead of bowing down to false idols.
From the series The Claustrophobic Christian. Here we talk about taking on impossible tasks in our ever changing world. Scripture focus- Daniel 3
Are you living in an “or both” mindset? Do you believe God has the power to work in your circumstance? Are you working each day as if He will bring bountiful blessings to your field? I pray you know that the love of your generous Father withstands every culture clash, every financial woe, and every heartbreak you might be experiencing.
If my tiny evangelical self decided to try and invite a friend to church or talk to them about Jesus but was rejected, my Momma would say “you've planted the seed and that's what matters.” I argue that I might have skipped a step. I didn't dig the hole first. I didn't make room for that seed to sink in.
Whether you're the storm or not. Whether the tree is in your yard or someone else's- it's still within your means to help out. We get stuck in the faith that God will intervene without considering that we're a part of that healing message.
From the gift to the giver. “I'm here for God's glory and whomever that benefits- all the more praise goes back up to Him! It's a giant Web of Worship, when we serve one another, acknowledging both the gift that we are and all we have been given .”
The people in our lives may view what we say and do as foolishness or gibberish, but God knows our heart and He loves us despite how poorly we sometimes communicate to others.
If God is within me, why do I have such a quick temper?
Here we talk about identifying and dealing with our anger.
Join us this week as we talk about mentorship in the most unusual way:) Which kind of mentor are you?
On a normal basis, my needs are always met in my service of others. So the question during Covid becomes- “Will I still serve God if my needs aren't being met?”
From past to present, shame is a bully. Thank God for His mercy in our lives!
A discussion with my friends Luna and Hannah! Dealing with shame in our lives and allowing God to use others as a vessel of His love.
What we see in our homes is highly reflective of what we feel in our hearts.
Preparing our hearts and minds for the eventual hunger and thirsts of the day.
Understanding how close we really are because of Who's holding us.
The kind of faith that continues to imagine big things during hard times.
Taking a look at our hearts amidst the Covid-19 hysteria. Song: Wellspring by Leeland
