For his sophomore album, DaQuan chose to work with producer Christopher McDonald, who is known for his multi-layered arrangements and unconventional recording style. Between week-long sessions at killingworthsound, Christopher's farm/studio retreat in Connecticut, DaQuan would record dozens of melodies, beatbox tracks, instrumental riffs and crazy sounds to send to him. Christopher would sample and reinterpret the material and out of this dialogue emerged a strange and wonderfully original sound world. Listening to the album is like wandering through the rooms of an art installation in which the rooms, while quite different from each other, seem to be having a conversation behind your back.
