Caitlín is an internationally renowned author, a teacher of shamanic training programme, a facilitator of Systemic Ritual® and the co-founder of the Foundation for Inspirational and Oracular Studies (FÍOS). Caitlín is the author of over 80 books, including Diary of a Soul Doctor, Singing the Soul Back Home, the Art of Celtic Seership, Celtic Devotional and The Celtic Book of the Dead. Her books have won a number of awards. She is known internationally for her work on the spiritual, mythic and ancestral traditions of Britain and Ireland. She teaches and works with communities and spiritual institutions worldwide from Iceland to Portugal and from USA to Australia. Caitlín is a co-founder of the Foundation for Inspirational and Oracular Studies (FÍOS), which is dedicated to the sacred arts that shape the landscape of the soul, via vision, dream and memory. FÍOS hosts masterclasses with exemplars of living, oracular sacred traditions that are rarely recorded in writing or given an honourable place in modern society. Caitlín has had a shamanic healing practice in Oxford for the last 30 years, working in the community to deepen connections to the ancestral traditions which are our heritage. This powerful message confronts one of the most challenging tensions in Christian living: how do we reconcile Jesus's command to deny ourselves with His instruction to love our neighbors as we love ourselves? Drawing from Luke 10:25 and the greatest commandment, we're invited into a journey of self-discovery that isn't about self-absorption but about spiritual maturity. The core revelation is strikingwe cannot be spiritually mature while remaining emotionally immature. When we suppress our feelings, ignore our emotions, or live behind masks of performance and possessions, we actually shut off a vital channel of communication with God. The message challenges us to examine three deceptive lies that keep us from knowing our true identity: the lie that we are what we do, the lie that we are what we have, and the lie that we are what others think. Through the lens of Jesus's temptation in the wilderness, we see how Satan still uses these same tactics to keep us from discovering who God created us to be. The call is clear: tune out distractions, surround ourselves with the right people, step out of our comfort zones, and most importantly, see ourselves the way God sees usas fearfully and wonderfully made, as the very pupil of His eye.
