Stoked Research recently returned from Cape Town where we were attending the first ever Wave Alliance #surftherapy incubator programme. We met a range of start-up surf therapy organisations including Chris Dennis, the most successful competitive surfer to ever come out of Trinidad and Tobago. On this episode Chris shares his story alongside his motivation and plans for surf therapy in the Caribbean, Waves for Hope. This week I am delighted to catch up with Mr Emmed Ross, founder of Waves for Change in Liberia, the first international satellite of the award winning Waves of Change program. Mr Ross shares with us the journey he undertook to bring surf therapy to Harper, a location that a few years ago never seen a surfboard.
