Two best friends having a conversation about things that catch our attention. We spend so much time trapped in online echo chambers absorbing all this information without really examining it, or questioning it. We end up feeling overwhelmed by its complexities. In the search for the Truth, we often end up feeling deflated. But, that does not have to be the case. Join us for a conversation as we filter through the events of life while on the road less traveled by.
Hey there, it’s been a while but we’re back! There’s been a lot going on in the world- it’s become a chaotic political arena. In this episode, we delve into the meaning of what change truly is. What echo chambers are you a part of? Do we accept everything that we read without referring to our own spiritual and intellectual council? Do we value virtue signaling and image more than we value the truth- the truth that you may truly never know anything about the given situation? What makes people pick sides and subscribe to online tribalism? We also talk about what is the ideal method to navigate our way through the maze of news and content online in a way that facilitates true change that is driven by the desire to do better and grow, and what the world needs and doesn’t need from those in power. All of us have a story to share. This one’s not an Instagram story, though.
Episode 5 "Moderation" with Dr. Tariq Shaikh Hey folks, it’s been a while. But, we’re back. And we’re back with a surprise. On this week’s podcast, we are joined by Dr.Tariq Shaikh, an incredibly revered physiotherapist from Pune. Dr. Tariq is the head of iPhysio, and has three clinics in Pune. This week, we had a conversation with him about physiotherapy, and what it fundamentally is, how spirituality and physicality intersect, the psychological perspective about human movements and posture. We also spoke about books and poetry, pseudoscience, and what he thinks is the best way to approach everything- with moderation. We’re sure you're going to like this one.
Culture rarely fails to include itself in most contexts of our lives. It’s the backstage director to our ideas, perspectives, and choices. Some cultures prove to be supremely influential, like American culture. It’ll blow your mind when you realize how much it affects you, and how much you participate in it and consume it. Dreams. Aren’t they the strangest, most intriguing films you’ve ever watched? How are they created- randomly or is it tied to our subconscious. Maybe it’s both. Also, how does consciousness play into all of this? Go look at your Netflix- what do you see? We barely give a thought about what we’re consuming and how it affects us. What type of media should we be consuming, and should we even be consuming any? Being righteous in every situation is expected of us. But what exactly is righteousness? Is it the application of a moral code or is it the lack of requirement of a moral code? Join us this week as we talk through culture, America, Netflix, consumption of media, dreams, consciousness, YouTube, and our thoughts on Enola Holmes.
Hey there. Hope you’re well. Have you ever thought about the vastness of the internet and it’s potential for scripting human interactions online and offline? What truly does being “self-aware” mean? Is it something fostered, or is it something organic? What do insecure people project onto the universe, and how is this very insecurity bred? Well, we have thought about this. Join us this episode as we talk about all of this, and also about our theories about God and love. (Oh, and we also rant about driving in Pune amongst other things.) Enjoy!
A grid of consciousness. An introspection of capability and creativity. An acknowledgment of the fictional superstructure that we have produced. An attempt at pulling down the veil of illusion and fear. An inquiry into the futility of existence. All while embracing the acceptance of not knowing.
