Everyone needs a little more Mister Rogers. Every episode we take a trip to our favorite neighborhood, and discuss the wisdom we find there.
After some technical difficulties with a few shows, we've combined the last three episodes of Mr Rogers' first week into one episode of Trolley Wisdom. We meet Chef Brockett, who bakes a cake for King Friday in Mr Roger's kitchen, but is disappointed by the King's suspicious nature. Corney, dismayed by all the new rules, stays home rather than visiting the King. Mr Rogers arrives for episode 4 with a playpen and St Bernard puppy to illustrate the difference between fences that keep people out, and fences that keep people safe. Mr McFeeley arrives with a punch clock from King Friday, and we learn that they are being delivered to everyone in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. Handyman Negri is busy installing them at Daniel's clock and Grandpere's Tower. Episode 5 begins with a number of floaty things, and Picture Picture shows us a movie about all sorts of things that float. Lady Aberlin arrives for some balloons to take to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, to us in her plan to float messages of peace to King Friday. Over in The Neighborhood, King Friday has installed a cannon, and Lady Eline FINALLY resurfaces.
Mr Rogers brings a painting of The Neighborhood Of Makebelieve. The burlap bag the painting arrived in becomes a cape that Mr Rogers gives to Lady Aberlin to help her be brave and strong when she goes to visit King Friday. In The Neighborhood Of Makebelieve, King Friday has made Edgar a border guard, and is requiring him to ask everyone their name, rank, and serial number. King Friday's battle cry is "down with the changes." X The Owl and Henrietta Kitten wonder together if there's a war at the castle. When King Friday scolds Lady Aberlin for joking around, she sings a song instead. Afterwards, he makes her another border guard, which she reluctantly accepts. Mr Rogers gets the newspaper with the headline, "King Against Change." Neighborhood Archive - great Mr Rogers resource http://www.neighborhoodarchive.com
Mr Rogers describes all the changes to his house. In the Neighborhood of Make Believe, Lady Elaine has used her magic to move around all the buildings, and everyone has different feelings and reactions to the changes. Back with Mr Rogers, we visit Mrs Russellite to check out her collection of lampshades.
