Mr Rogers brings a painting of The Neighborhood Of Makebelieve. The burlap bag the painting arrived in becomes a cape that Mr Rogers gives to Lady Aberlin to help her be brave and strong when she goes to visit King Friday. In The Neighborhood Of Makebelieve, King Friday has made Edgar a border guard, and is requiring him to ask everyone their name, rank, and serial number. King Friday's battle cry is "down with the changes." X The Owl and Henrietta Kitten wonder together if there's a war at the castle. When King Friday scolds Lady Aberlin for joking around, she sings a song instead. Afterwards, he makes her another border guard, which she reluctantly accepts. Mr Rogers gets the newspaper with the headline, "King Against Change." Neighborhood Archive - great Mr Rogers resource http://www.neighborhoodarchive.com

On this "Jon Carter Classic" The Semi Legal Clinic of Billy Buefort & Bubba Pickett are here with advice, because every winter season, the unexpected Black Ice Monster overtakes the Speeding Sinner with the result of cars going crash, boom and bang! With passages from "The Book of Litigation's" Billy & Bubba have the solution's for sorvexation or in layman's terms, "suing & screwin"! Plus protection from the patron saint of lawyers...Johnny "Carter" Cochran, Say Hallelujah! And Mr. Robert's keeps getting stranded at The Salt Lake Municipal Airport due to the "Bomb Cyclone" back east and dense fog surrounding the Wasatch Front. Hoping to rendezvous with Lady Aberlin in Florida to watch Iguana's fall from trees, instead he's passing the time pronouncing big words, singing songs and playing The Board Game, "Alive" where you win if your plane doesn't crash and you don't get eaten! "The Bible Brother's & Mr. Roberts" from "Jon Carter's Archives" and Utah's Classic 103.5 The Arrow!
In which Lady Aberlin sits in a tiny house, and we have a close encounter of the first kind.
Anyone over the age of 40 probably grew up watching Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood where we learned valuable life lesson's, visited the Land of Make Believe, and interacted with his cast of characters like Mr. McFeely, Lady Aberlin, Chef Brockett and, of course, Joe "Handyman" Negri. What you may not know is that Joe is a highly-respected jazz guitarist in the mold of Django Reinhardt and at 91 years old, continues to perform and collaborate with jazz luminaries like Michael Feinstein. We didn't have much time, but I wanted to get to know him better and learn about what life was like in Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood, his musical career, and his time in education. http://joenegri.com/
