The 9th Annual Athletics Hall of Fame Dinner and Induction Ceremony was held on October 21, 2011, as part of Homecoming Weekend. Tom Weingartner, director of athletics, offers opening remarks, followed by Kim Goff-Crews, vice president for campus life. Lester Munson serves as master of ceremonies and introduces the inductees to speak individually. Recipients included Pat Barry, Bob Fisher, Gene Ericksen, Ned Merriam, Renee Neuner, Keith Parsons, and Margaret Pizer. Inductees were selected by a committee composed of University of Chicago faculty, staff, alumni, and Athletics Hall of Fame members.
