Manny despised having to play the piano due to the beatings he would get when not perfecting his lessons but because of repetition, Manny became really good at playing the piano. A lesson learned by Manny is that if you want to become great at something, you need to pour yourself into it, learn along the way from your mistakes, and seek mentorship or coaching to help you speed up the learning curve.
