imon discusses the book and why it is important to make time with your family, and Simon discusses going for counseling which helped him from past trauma. Simon gave great suggestions for men to have emotional honesty, celebrate their wife or partner's life, find out their core gifting and abilities, and their dreams. We discussed couples communicating and showing each other support. Simon T.Bailey  said, "Whatever you don't  deal with will deal with you." "What gets recognized  gets repeated." This is important to reinforce the positive actions your partner does!

Småt Brændbart stiller i denne uge skarpt på blå bloks kæmpe krise. Der er tale om en negativ spiral af dimensioner, møgsagerne hober sig op, og især Søren Pape er nærmest druknet i modstand og dårlig presse. Vi runder selvfølgelig også blå bloks crazy pressemøde i onsdags, hvor de to statsministerkandidater havde stillet sig op på Kastellet med solen ”lige i smasken”, som Pape så smukt formulerede det, og forsøgte at bruge FE sagen til at vinde stemmer. Uheldigvis havde de hverken risikovurderet på kritiske spørgsmål fra pressen eller i det hele taget forberedt sig. Det står ikke bedre til hos HK Privat, hvor formanden Simon Tøgern opfører et helt skuespil i dårlig krisehåndtering, da Frihedsbrevet konfronterer ham med en række kritiske spørgsmål om en helt skæv ledelseskultur i HK Privats kommunikationsafdeling. Tøgern er iskold og arrogant, og det er at forestille sig, hvordan man i HK Privat formår at rådgive deres medlemmer, der oplever en syg ledelseskultur ude i det private erhvervsliv, når fagforeningen selv tager førsteprisen i den kategori. When I get that feedback from people who say I get it. That's why I do this work. It's about the Epiphany, the Eureka moment for them. [11:20] Falling apart in Marriage I was chasing money, but it had no meaning; my situation was poor. My daughter came into my home office one day, and I was emotionally unavailable because I was in between trips to keep up the appearances. My number one job is to be a better husband and become a business entrepreneur.  [13:14] After going through a divorce after being married for 25 years, I've learned that women want their husbands to be emotionally honest with them—putting the truth on the table. If it's not working, then it's not working. Therapy is extremely crucial for men who don't like to go and sit on a sofa and just process.  [15:08] Finding your people  It's not about ego. Ego is edging goodness out. They are always around others, and they're more interested instead of being interesting. Those are the guys I want to roll with because I'll rub off on them. [16:04] Opening Opportunities It's the greatest time to be in this business. People are wide open to reinventing and not doing it the way it's always done. They understand what I would call Boucher day. So it's seen it for the first time or going the opposite way. [22:01] Benefits of Courses Everything in business comes down to relationships. Rapporten er skrevet i et håb om at kunne give konkrete, handlingsanvisende gode råd til både it-uddannelser og it-arbejdspladser, så vi får større lighed og balance mellem kønnene. Det handler fx om at skabe mere inkluderende arbejdspladskultur, finde flere kvindelige rollemodeller på studierne, lade ledelsen gå forrest i at vise hvordan diversitet er vigtigt i firmaerne, og så videre. We’re in the midst of a global pandemic and, of course, everyone’s attention is focused on COVID-19. Other podcasts have excellent coverage of this situation. Over the past year, the UC Davis ED implemented a massive screening effort to identify patients who have become infected. Dr. Larissa May explains how the screening works and some of the surprising trends we’ve seen. Infection rates were higher than expected and many patients had no idea they were infected! One patient tells us how screening positive for HIV, and being connected to care, changed his life.  This topic, as with so many issues we cover, brings up the broader question: what is the role of the emergency department in the healthcare system? This week Marcela reads from Nava Semel’s novel, Isra Ilse, an alternative history of the Jewish People in which there was no state of Israel, and no holocaust. The novel is divided into three parts. Part 1, a detective story, opens in September 2001 when Liam Emanuel, an Israeli descendant of Noah, learns about and inherits Grand Island, which is downriver from Niagara Falls. He leaves Israel intending to reclaim this “Promised Land” in America. Shortly after he arrives in America Liam disappears. Simon T. Sarah and Simon VC remark that if Bo are happy to be a companion bank account, the data can't be fully representatives of their customers' finances. Simon T thinks that profitability is at least a five year journey - is the importance of profit early on misguided? (:).
