    NEW YEAR NEW BEGINNINGS!!!! Happy New Year Everyone! It's been so dope seeing everyone 2019 resolutions and all the goal setting that we've been able to peep. We wish everyone best of luck! Also we're not sure if anyone has been keeping track but our 24th episode marks the end of Season 2! WE thought hard about ways in which we could end off such an incredible season and we thought that it was only right that we invited one of our biggest fans to come through and share talks. In our Season finale we invited Shaleena Mcgregor, otherwise known as "Sweet Tooth Shae" to come on the poddy!     Winnipeg Stand up! In this episode we got Winnipeg's very own Alexa Joy Potashnik representing for the Black folks in the Prairies of Manitoba. Alexa is the founder of Black Space Winnipeg, host of Raw Colours, Vocal percussionist, and former Racialized Student commissioner for the Canadian Federation of Students. Alexa Joy Potashnik works to create safe spaces for people of colour and challenge white male privilege, dominance, and supremacy through grassroots activism. In this episode Alexa highlights some of her work in BlackSpaceWinnipeg(WPG) and we breakdown her TedTalk which dissected the need for creating safer spaces in post-secondary institutions for Black students. The man dem also get to privy a sickkkkkkkkkkk beatbox sample from her as well.
