Well it was only a matter of time before we introduced our big sister Linda to our podcast community! Typically we laughed more than talked but we did manage to capture just a few of Linda's amazing musical stories and her wild and wonder filled journey along the way! On this edition of A Third Above we talk to the fabulous Corinne Drewery of "Swing out Sister" - "BREAKOUT" - "SURRENDER" - "YOU ON MY MIND" We first met Swing out Sister when we were asked to come and bring what was fast becoming our much revered "Lewis" sound (and energy) into the studio to record "Breakout", still their biggest hit to date and the song the launched their lush pop/jazz sound on to the world! We've been friends for 30+ years on and off stage so it seemed fitting that our very first episode with someone other than just us sisters, would be with a 'sister in soul' and adopted family member - Corinne! We could have talked forever, in fact we did for at least another 1/2 hour after we stopped recording, so you may get to hear us musing on all things music and life on a further episode. Until then...enjoy this one :)
