Emergency protocol that prevents people or information from leaving an area
And predictably, the movie PANDAMNED, by independent European filmmaker Marijn Poels, was immediately censored by Big Tech. The YouTube trailer for the movie was banned for violating the platform's terms of service for blaspheming against the infallible advice of local health authorities. The trailer and the movie are, however, available in full on Rumble. For the past two years, the world population has been under the spell of the coronavirus. Emergency regimes have been established, civil liberties have been dismantled, surveillance programs were being installed and an unprecedented global vaccination program has been rolled out. In PANDAMNED, Poels asks “are we doing the right thing, or did we make a deal with the devil in exchange for a benefit?” Through comprehensive interviews with critical and often censored voices from various areas of expertise, PANDAMNED tries to tell the whole story, not just the official, government and Big Tech-approved version of reality. Marijn Poels joins me tonight to discuss why he made PANDAMNED and how the public can stop the power grab the coronavirus enabled.
GUEST HOST: DAVID MENZIES The other day, I was thinking about one of my all-time favourite films. It's a bit sci-fi, and a whole lot of horror. I speak of the 1978 reboot of the 1956 film, Invasion of the Bodysnatchers. As the title implies, the film's plot revolves around the replacement of people. When the alien lifeforms take over a person, they look exactly like their former human selves. I was reminiscing about this fantastic albeit frightening flick because lately I've been pondering: who is responsible for the body-snatching of Premier Doug Ford? GUEST: Avi Yemini
April economic data from China came worse than expected. Given the sheer importance of the Asian giant to Brazil, that is something for President Jair Bolsonaro, who seeks re-election in October, to worry about. Support the show

China has been warned by the World Health Organisation that its so-called 'zero covid' approach is unsustainable. Hundreds of millions of people have been kept under lockdown in cities across the country, leaving the economy severely jolted, and critics calling it an abuse of human rights. However, the Chinese authorities seem determined to carry on as before, and have announced that the city of Shanghai will be placed under its tightest restrictions yet. The news came as a disappointment to Rebecca Kanthor, who has already gone through seven weeks of lockdown. Choosing what to wear in El Salvador can be literally a matter of life or death. The country is plagued by gang violence, with eighty people murdered over just one weekend this year. The government has promised a crackdown, passing new laws which allow police to lock up suspected gang members as young as 12. Mike Lanchin lived in El Salvador during the 1990s, and when he returned for a visit with his family, he quickly learned the value of covering up. More than five million people have now fled Ukraine, and have been taken in by countries across Europe. Switzerland has offered homes to tens of thousands, giving them an immediate right to work, and other benefits too. Yet this hospitality has left refugees from other countries questioning what they see as double standards. As Imogen Foulkes explains, plenty have run from war and persecution elsewhere, and yet have not found the Swiss to be quite so accepting. Germany has been commemorating the end of World War Two - a complicated anniversary, remembering both the country's dead, but with an eye to its Nazi past. This year's anniversary comes amidst Russia's invasion of Ukraine, and furious arguments in Germany about how far to intervene. John Kampfner was invited to one remembrance ceremony in the old East Berlin, where Germany's complex relationship with Russia was to the fore. Women's boxing celebrated its biggest night ever recently, as Ireland's Katy Taylor defended her world lightweight title against Amanda Serrano from Puerto Rico, at New York's Madison Square Garden. Women's boxing has always struggled to win recognition, but women have fought hard to prove it is not just a men's sport. Steve Bunce was ring-side at the recent bout.
Sheila Gunn Reid joins to discuss how the green movement is no longer about environmentalism and is more about Marxism. Plus, Kian Simone, one of the producers behind an upcoming Rebel News docuseries, The Great Reset, pops in for a conversation about what the World Economic Forum and it's chairman, Klaus Schwab, has in store for the world.
A crowd of people yelled at NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh in Peterborough, Ont. this week, and now the police are investigating this incident like it's a major crime. GUEST: Ben Weingarten
This week the NewzKidz discuss VE Day, what 'Wagatha Christie' is all about, The Queen's Speech, and why Shanghai is in its strictest lockdown yet.
In this week's episode of Talk to Ben, Ben sits down with Georgie Michaels. Georgie and Ben have known each other for around twelve years. Today's guest is my friend Jeffery Tucker, an American economics writer of the Austrian School, an advocate of anarcho-capitalism and Bitcoin, a publisher of libertarian books, a conference speaker, and an internet entrepreneur. He is currently the Founder and President of the Brownstone Institute and the author of many thousands of articles in the scholarly and popular press and ten books in 5 languages, most recently Liberty or Lockdown. He is also the editor of The Best of Mises. He speaks widely on economics, technology, social philosophy, and culture. The Brownstone Institute for Social and Economic Research is a nonprofit organization conceptualized in May 2021. Its vision is of a society that places the highest value on the voluntary interaction of individuals and groups while minimizing the use of violence and force, even including that exercised by public authority. This vision is that of the Enlightenment that formal learning, science, progress, and universal rights to the forefront of public life. It is newly threatened by ideologies and systems that would take the world back before the triumph of the ideal of freedom. We discuss a wide range of topics from Bitcoin, the sociological fallout of COVID, the mental health crisis in America, the rise of Medical Fascism, and much more. We begin our conversation by discussing the economic repercussions of government intervention. Jeffery discusses how the current inflation and economic recession we are experiencing are primarily due to the government policies enacted during the COVID crisis. We discuss how inflation is impacting the various socioeconomic levels of society. We also discuss how these policies have further created societal divisions and strife. We transition our conversation to Bitcoin. We discuss how Bitcoin is the light in an ever-darkening world. We touch on how Satoshi prophesied many of the events that have transpired over the last couple of years. We also discuss what attracted us to Bitcoin. We pivot our conversation to discuss the growing societal fallouts of the COVID pandemic. We focus on the erosion of our liberties and freedoms. We begin by addressing how government policies have continued to become more totalitarian in their implementation by discussing lockdowns, the various mandates, and restrictions. Jeffery illustrates how far we've fallen from our perceived reality and norms over the last couple of years. We also discuss the growing trend of medical fascism and how technology companies have assisted them in this endeavor. We pivot our conversation to discuss the mental health crisis plaguing young Americans and how we can better address the inequities in the system leading young Americans down the path of depression and despair. Our last conversation topic centered around the societal constructs of truth and morality. We discuss how the various ways societies throughout history have established societal constructs around truth and reality and how they enforce those norms. Please enjoy my conversation with Jeffery Tucker. -- This podcast is powered by Blockworks. The World Economic Forum's oligarchs are using the threat of climate change to increase their global power. And though the WEF claims to hold “moral and intellectual integrity is at the heart of everything it does”, many of the policies, and in particular, the ones related to greenhouse gas emissions reduction will result in untold human suffering, energy poverty and even death. The WEF laments the war in Ukraine as an inconvenient obstruction to a green energy transition and whines about the war causing an increase in carbon emissions. The WEF has “ambitious” initiatives to force the transportation, aviation and shipping industries to pursue net-zero emissions which will drive up the cost of consumer goods, travel and flights for the average person, leaving the skies and the seas only for the rich people to use. Climate change is a means to an end, and the goal is control. Joining me tonight to discuss the intersection of the WEF and the radical, anti-human agenda of the environmentalist movement is Michelle Stirling from Friends of Science.
Wellbeing through stitch and communal creative practice runs through Claire's practice, writing and projects. She's just completed a PhD exploring this subject in depth and we both love talking about the importance of community making practice, about textile and local heritage and about the power of textiles to change lives in all kinds of subtle ways. This conversation ranges across all these areas of interest and we talk about how our work in communities is so important yet so often overlooked in the wider art world. I was honoured to be included in Claire's recent book Resilient Stitch and I'm also grateful to her for sharing her thoughts on textiles and community making for Textiles in Lockdown podcast which I made in 2020 with Gawthorpe Textiles Collection. That's coming out on this podcast very soon so you can catch up with it right here. Claire has just relaunched her incredibly popular online teaching sessions.
