Welcome back! It's the last week of March so it's time for a year 12 update. Join me as I discuss trying to stay focused on school despite wanting to spend time on my hobbies, handing in my LAST EVER maths assignment (!!) & sending in my application for early acceptance to university!   Hoping all other year 12s had a good term that went to plan!   See you next Wednesday! 

Inspired by William Ernest Henley's fantastic poem, Invictus, I sit down for a casual chat about the 'Endurance Mindset', that 'Never Say Die' mentality that is popular amongst Navy seals and silicon valley start-ups.    Join me as I reflect on when I've employed this frame of mind in the past and how I think it has affected me in the long run.    Episode 3 of The Year 12 project will be out next Wednesday... see you there! :)

This week, join me as I reminisce about my experience as an exchange student in Italy in late 2018! In this episode, I outline the main differences I found between Italy and Australia in terms of social life, school and people.    Please leave a review if you can :). 

On the weekend, I finished reading Madeline Miller's first novel, The Song of Achilles, and WOW that book was amazing! I highly recommend. Since then, I've been thinking a lot about how Achilles' story is applicable today, and I landed on this little analogy about the opportunity cost of happiness. Episode 2 of the Year 12 Project Series is all about my relationship with grades and how my mindset has changed over the past few years. This year I am starting Year 12 and so I've decided to record an audio diary over the course of the year, explaining how I'm feeling and what steps I'm taking as we close in on Graduation!
