This episode starts off with me going home to Arizona. I make a stop and take a few photographs at a look out point in the mountains of San Diego. There was a bunch of fog or fog like smoke from near by fires in the valley with a few peaks in the distance. Then I ramble for about an hour on various thoughts and ideas related to photography, and cameras, and such. Then just before I enter the state of Arizona I stop on the freeway just before an exit called "Winterhaven Road" to take a fee pictures of a river winding back into a green pasture, leading to a water tower. I briefly discuss what I learned about the Lab-Box during my first experience using it to develop slide film for the first Tim. I also give some tips I think would be helpful for someone else who is attempting to process slide film for the first time.
I talk about the Lab-Box I backed on Kickstarter delivered to my house and what I plan to develop in it first. In part 2, I talk about the first wedding I photographed and what I learned from the experience.
