Many places, no matter how much people like to complain are objectively good. Take Central Park for example. Sure, maybe they could do with more toilets and there might be a lot of squirells, but objectivly it is a very good place. That doesn't stop people complaining though. Trust us.
You know those destinations that as soon as you type them into Google image search every result you get could be the wallpaper on the latest version of MacOS? Denali is one of those. Insanely beautiful, a snow-capped peak, water, trees, you know the deal. But as usual, people are more than happy to find something to complain about.
You know that giant stone carving in the middle of the Egyptian desert? The one in the shape of a Sphinx? Yep, pretty incredible hey? Considering it was built somewhere around 2500 BC, it’s a pretty impressive feat, but, as we know, that won’t stop people complaining, not a chance. This week we’re reading bad reviews of The Great Sphinx of Giza–an objectively good place.
What could possibly make someone leave a bad review for a park? Maybe someone charging entry? A homeless person promising drugs and making off with your money instead? Washington Square Park is objectively a good place, but we can assure you that people don't let that get in the way of complaining.
Objectively, some places are good. No matter how many times people complain. Disneyland is one of those places, so for our first episode, we dive into some bad reivews of the happiest place on earth.
