Upon arriving into the town of Addersfield in the country of Ro, the gang sees that a mysterious disease is killing all of the crops. They also learn that Diana may be more important than they had once believed.
The group recuperates from the eventful past few days at The Drunken Dwarf in Murkwell. Caydwyn and Diana get closer in their relationship. And Mauldin goes off on his own, again.
After defeating the Earth Elemental, Glugtar is convinced that there is nothing else major in this temple and leads the group into the lower level to try and find the next piece of the Staff of Soliel.
After rescuing Mauldin and retrieving a piece of Soliel's Staff from the temple in Old Noviot, the gang returns to the mysterious doorway in the tree outside of Murkwell, searching for a second shard.
After defeating the evil mirror Glugtar and still finding no trace of Mauldin in the ruins, the gang continues to make their way through trying to figure out what happened to their one time travel companion.
Mauldin attempts to explore the ancient ruins under Noviot alone, but realizes he might be in a bit over his head. Meanwhile, Kasdri rushes off to find the rest of the gang to attempt to rally a rescue for Mauldin.
The group has split up and gone to two different location in attempts to track down different pieces of the staff of Soliele. Mauldin has gone to the Prancing Shrub, a pub in the town of Noviot, hoping to find some information, while the rest of the group has just been surrounded by a group of warrior tree-like creatures after following the map to a location to the south of Murkwell.
Everyone has returned to the capital city of Soli to meet with the Merciful Divine to try and figure out the next steps in hunting down the cult known as the Canis Venatici...but, will the group remain united in this cause?
