Harbour City Hockey's 5th AIHL audio broadcast of the 2017 season was the July 15 game between Sydney Bears & Sydney Ice Dogs in the third #battleofsydney in 2017. Saturday July 1 was a special event for the Sydney Ice Dogs as they played Perth Thunder on Canada Day at Macquarie Ice Rink. It was the day of the Matt Clark Shield charity event for leukemia research. After a couple of late powerplay goals by Perth Thunder in quick succession, Ice Dogs win 5-3.
