The NFL Playoff Picture is coming into full view but teams really muddy-ed the waters with the results of week 16 across the NFL. The Jacksonville Jaguars dropped their statement win of the season on the Denver Broncos and now about 5 different teams can win the AFC's #1 seed. Trevor Lawrence and Co showed they are a legit Super Bowl contending team. The New England Patriots rallied behind Drake Maye and knocked off the Baltimore Ravens to stay a game ahead of the Bills in the AFC East. The Pittsburgh Steelers held on to win a whacky game in Detroit, earning our Hemingway moniker but today DK Metcalf found out that he will be suspended for the final two games of the 2025 NFL season. The Chargers, Texans and Bills all won over teams already eliminated so they could keep pace in the playoff race. And in the NFC, the Eagles took care of the Commanders on Saturday afternoon to feel better about their chances in the playoffs. The Bears had a miraculous comeback against the Packers to further solidify their claim to the NFC North throne. And the fellas breakdown the wild NFC South, a division that both teams, the Panthers and Buccaneers, both seemingly don't want to win. SVP and Stanford Steve are back to break down all the action from Week 16 of the NFL season. Starting with a convincing win by the 49ers over the Colts on MNF, can the Niners really make a Super Bowl run? SVP's favorite is still the Rams in the NFC, but there are many teams that can make things interesting. In the AFC, it's anyone's best guess. Could the Jaguars be that team? What about the Patriots? And who should win Coach of the Year? Plus, a word on permanent Pooptown refugee Carolina Panthers, the Eagles' outlook, the Netflix Christmas slate and more. The Packers find themselves in a position they never should have been in. After a brutal loss to the Bears that saw both Jordan Love and Malik Willis leave with injuries, Green Bay's playoff hopes now hang by a thread. With only two offensive players grading above 70 and eleven below average on defense, this was one of the ugliest PFF performances of the season—and it came at the worst possible time. Ryan dives deep into the film, calling out the offensive line struggles that continue to plague this team, particularly Aaron Banks' dismal 45 overall grade. The defense wasn't any better, with zero players earning a 70 or higher in coverage. Meanwhile, Rashan Gary led the team with four pressures while Lucas Van Ness showed promise with a 17.6% pressure rate. The only silver lining? The Lions' playoff probability has plummeted to 6%, needing the Packers to completely collapse while they win out. Looking ahead to a crucial Week 17 matchup against Baltimore, both teams face serious quarterback uncertainty as Lamar Jackson deals with a significant back contusion. The path to the playoffs is simple: win one game. The question is whether this battered team can rise to the occasion. This episode is brought to you by PrizePicks! The Packers dominated the Bears for nearly four quarters, then watched it all unravel in the most gut-wrenching fashion possible. Tonight, fans call in for what can only be described as Packers therapy, processing the pain of a loss that never should have happened. Callers break down the offensive red zone struggles that plagued the team all game, Josh Jacobs' costly fumble that shifted momentum, and Romeo Doubs' failed onside kick recovery that sealed the defeat. The conversation turns philosophical as fans draw striking parallels to the 2010 Super Bowl season, reminding us that things looked equally bleak before that championship run. With Jordan Love's injury status uncertain and questions swirling about whether Malik Willis can lead the team to a playoff berth, one thing remains clear: the Packers were the better team, and Bears fans know it. Despite the devastating finish, this squad refuses to quit, and neither should we. One win clinches a playoff spot, and stranger things have happened in Green Bay. #671: Welcome to Greatest Hits Week — five days, five episodes from our vault, spelling out F-I-I-R-E. Today's letter F stands for Financial Psychology. And we're diving deep with a conversation that changed how thousands of our listeners think about money. This episode originally aired in November 2022, but the insights feel more relevant than ever. Dr. Daniel Crosby reveals why your brain is your portfolio's worst enemy — and what you can do about it. ______ Money is the number one stressor in American lives. Every single year. Without exception. That's what Dr. Daniel Crosby discovered when he looked at decades of research from the American Psychological Association. In this rerun episode from our Greatest Hits Vault, Crosby joins us to reveal why your brain sabotages your investment decisions. He's both a clinical psychologist and behavioral finance expert. His findings will change how you think about money. Your body hijacks your financial judgment in strange ways. For example: People who need to pee become more risk-averse investors. It's called inhibitory spillover. When you're controlling your bladder, you also restrict your financial decisions. Here's another one: judges give harsher sentences when they're hungry. Thousands of court decisions prove it. The best predictor of whether you get jail time? When the judge last ate. We explore four behavioral risks that destroy wealth: ego, conservatism, attention, and emotion. Crosby shares data that stock pickers rarely hear: 74 percent of individual stocks have a lifetime expected return of zero. Three out of four companies eventually go bankrupt. Yet people keep betting on single stocks, dreaming they'll find the next Apple. Value investors suffer from depression and social isolation. Why? Because contrarian investing fights our deepest evolutionary wiring. Humans survived through cooperation. It's literally our only advantage over other animals. Bears have claws. Turtles have shells. We have teamwork. Crosby shares the Ash experiment, which shows how peer pressure warps reality. When nine people give the wrong answer about line lengths, three-quarters of participants follow along. New brain scans reveal something darker: social pressure physically changes how people see the lines. Their perception actually shifts. We discuss solutions through Crosby's "three E's": education, environment, and encouragement. Reading about biases won't fix them. You need systems and people. One powerful study: people who saw their children's photo for five seconds before banking saved twice as much money. The conversation reveals that money problems don't disappear with wealth. They just change form. Timestamps: Note: Timestamps will vary on individual listening devices based on dynamic advertising run times. Czabe welcomes ANDY POLLIN to recap Week 16 in the NFL, starting with the wild zebra conference at the end of Lions v. Steelers. WFAN eliminates its iconic 20-20 tickers. The FanDuel Networks might go dark mid-NBA season. AI-written "game stories" are a complete and utter joke. Ed Cooley got suspended for throwing a water bottle. The Bears stun the Packers in a manner similar to the 2014 NFC Championship Game. The Commanders are running out of QB's. How come Burrow is playing (and balling) and Daniels is being placed in bubble wrap? Tom Brady is bitter. Worst Netflix NFL Christmas ever! It's time to sprint through the finish line... kinda. Andy, Brendan!, Kevin Van Valkenburg, and PJ return for what may be the final installment of 2025's Year in Review, spanning from the Travelers Championship through Scottie Scheffler's win at The Open. Before the five-event recap begins, Andy is given ample time to celebrate a Victory Sunday (and Monday!) following the biggest Bears win in years on Saturday night. He talks plenty of smack about a Packers team that the Bears may see again in a playoff game very soon and anoints Caleb Williams as the best quarterback in the NFC North. Fear not, as there is a Nico Echavarria Minute to even things out later in this episode! Part 9 of The 2025 Year in Review begins with KVV handling the Travelers Championship, which was a triumphant week for his man Keegan Bradley and yet another collapse by Tommy Fleetwood. Brian Rolapp also burst on the scene with the official news of his hire as the PGA Tour's new CEO. Brendan picks things up at the Rocket Classic where podcast favorite Aldrich Potgieter won a never-ending playoff at a bomber's paradise in Detroit. LIV Dallas also ended in a playoff, won by Patrick Reed, but Bryson DeChambeau managed to be the star of the show anyway at his hometown event. The John Deere Classic featured another playoff at the end, but PJ instead focuses on a group of "olds" complaining about equity stakes in PGA Tour Enterprises as the biggest news of the week. Patrick Roy's son, Kevin, also provided what may be this podcast's Tweet of the Year! Andy then slips in a "Nico Minute" while discussing Chris Gotterup's breakout win at the Scottish Open. He also shares some enlightening quotes from Scottie Scheffler on links golf and Rory McIlroy's public detonation of PGA Frisco. The Open Championship is a team effort, with KVV handling the pre-tournament days of "Nihilist Scottie" and yet another newsworthy caddie-player breakup. Andy researches Thursday and Friday in Portrush, reminding folks of some early leaders like Jacob Skov Olesen and other Storylines Nobody's Talking About from that week. Remember when Matthew Jordan defeated par? Finally, Brendan brings us home as he walks through Scottie Scheffler's coronation and an emotional weekend for Rory McIlroy in his home country. That'll do it for Andy and Brendan on the feed in 2025, but "The Boys" have been tasked with giving Mr. 1,000 his just due after the powers that be decided to end their 2025 Year in Review at Royal Portrush.

Five wins. Seven wins. These were the predictions of Rob and Patrick halfway through what has turned into a magically fun season for the Chicago Bears. Over the weekend, the team that has haunted them their entire adult lives, the Green Bay Packers, fell in spectacular fashion, as the Bears launched a sports existential crisis throughout the state of Wisconsin.
