by: Bryan Gwatney How many times in our own solo journeys do we have problems; go-karts that are brakeless? Sure we get used to it. We understand how to control the situations when they may get out of hand. However, what happens when we add another person to the mix? Those brakes that we don’t fix, the problems that we just mask or find a way around, only create a recipe for disaster. Sure they may conquer the little turns and tiny hills, but what happens when you come to that big hill and you don’t have the means to stop when you get to the bottom? Yes it may have been fun; the quick u-turn may have prevented us from driving into the creek when we were alone. But when you bring that brakeless go-kart into a relationship, or even a marriage, you are only setting yourself up to be crushed.
