Struggling with Intrusive Thoughts and Doubts? You're not alone. Most Christians experience doubt from time to time, but for some the struggle with intrusive thoughts that breed uncertainty can become all-consuming. In this episode, Aaron Salvato answers a question from listener who struggles with random sudden thoughts that cause them to question if their faith is real. Aaron shares his own experience with disruptive intrusive thoughts as a young teen and how he overcame them. He discusses how God sees those who doubt and affirms that grace is bigger than any issue of the mind. Then, Join Aaron and Co-Host Brian Higgins as they tackle the thought intrusions that can erode our trust in spiritual truth. From reading Scripture and questioning long held beliefs to processing Christian behavior in culture, they uncover how to engage doubts wisely. Brian shares from experience, urging listeners not to suppress their questions but courageously chase answers. "There are good resources out there," he notes. But the deepest antidote lies in experiencing Jesus in a personal way that transcends logical proofs. Aaron articulates how doubts that lead us to truth can strengthen faith, while doubts pursued solely to alleviate uncertainty rarely satisfy. Jesus meets us where we are, inviting us higher. "Show me yourself in a way I cannot deny," Aaron encourages listeners to pray. Tune in for this honest yet hopeful discussion of what it truly means to doubt your doubts in pursuit of the One who desires to reveal himself. Welcome to this episode of the podcast where we explore the challenges faced by successful entrepreneurs and how coaching can help overcome them. In this episode, we had a conversation with Amel Derragui, a marketing and productivity coach and founder of Tandem Nomads. Here are some of the key takeaways from our discussion: Building a successful business can be challenging, and entrepreneurs need a support system to overcome the obstacles they face. A support system can include family members, friends, mentors, and coaches who can provide guidance and encouragement along the way. Involving family members, especially children, in the business can create a sense of community and understanding of what the entrepreneur is trying to achieve. To be successful in any industry, entrepreneurs need to be knowledgeable about their field and the other experts in it. Creating a community of like-minded individuals can provide a source of inspiration, motivation, and accountability. True relationships built on genuine interest and care are the foundation of a strong support system. Investing in the support we need can help us achieve faster results and overcome challenges more efficiently. Consistency is crucial to achieving success in business, and entrepreneurs need to implement strategies that will help them maintain consistency. The three Cs - clarity, consistency, and connection - are essential components of any successful marketing strategy. Clarity involves having a clear understanding of what you want to achieve and who your ideal clients are. Consistency means implementing strategies that will help you show up regularly and maintain a strong presence in your industry. Connection involves building relationships with your audience and creating a sense of community around your brand. Coaching can be a valuable resource for entrepreneurs looking to overcome challenges and achieve their goals. Coaching can provide an objective perspective, accountability, and guidance that can help entrepreneurs stay on track and overcome obstacles. By investing in coaching, entrepreneurs can develop the skills and mindset they need to achieve long-term success in their businesses. Thank you for tuning in to this episode of the podcast, and we hope these takeaways have provided valuable insights into the challenges faced by entrepreneurs and how coaching can help overcome them. Rebecca and Lisa Allen discuss Chapter 6 of Do the Thing: Gospel-Centered Goals, Gumption, and Grace for the Go-Getter Girl titled The Invitation to a Finished Work. Lisa Allen a speaker and a coach with over 20 years experience both with a national women's ministry and on a large church staff. She's aso a wife and mom to two adult kids who are her very favorite people to do life with. Her passion is this: to help others better understand their wiring and ultimately gain confidence and clarity on who they are in Christ, in order to aim their lives for greatest impact and purpose. Sometimes this looks like speaking at conferences and events. Other times, it means she spends a few days with a small group at their team offsite, helping them build trust and learn to work together better. Most days, she's seated in a cozy corner of a coffee shop or on a zoom link face to face with women who are using coaching to gain direction and live a sustainably paced life. Her two combined decades of experience as both an Executive Director of a national non-profit along with the experience of being on a large church staff allows her to apply a multi-dimensional approach to understanding women in the corporate world, ministry realm and entrepreneurial space. Rebecca and Lisa discussed: How Ruth had to lay down her own selfish desires to be faithful and how her life encourages us to make kingdom-minded decisions In the wake of a season where God may be asking you to lay something down or "quit" a particular assignment, how does Jesus "getting away from the noise" and getting alone with the Father encourage us Macroquitting and Microquitting (and the shame that can be associated with laying down an assignment) “Efficient inefficiency" - where we've become so fast at "doing something we've always done" that it feels like more work to change our process than to continue a process/task that isn't really working for us As we take faithful next steps in our calling, there are some people I believe we need along the way (Lisa and Rebecca chat about how these different friends are helpful in their own callings) Being a “multi-passionate” creative Lisa Allen website _______________________________ PSSSSSST! Today, we are going to discover an easy way to see self-rejectionNormally, the most subtle and often unconscious reactions can become layered within other challenging feelings. Think for a moment, of all your difficult feelings. Which one do you like the least? Wouldn't it be beneficial to learn how to discover and overcome self-rejection and to be guided to care for yourself during the times these feelings arise? Using simple questioning to determine if you like how you are feeling, it is possible to learn what times you are in self-rejection and act to awaken your inner wisdom to guide you intelligently and intentionally toward a caring and sensible response. Acknowledging self-rejection is important because it sidetracks us and makes us either suppress or get caught up in secondary feelings that frequently leave us agitated or depressed. This guided meditation will allow you to become more aware of your self-rejection and help you learn how to observe it. When the layer of self-rejection can be rooted out, it is possible to allow the challenge to lead you to your core need and on a path toward greater fulfillment and self-acceptance. • The Introspective Guides: download your copy here. • Watch the video of this episode: on our YouTube channel. • Read the transcription & listen to this episode: at Awareness That Heals.

This period challenged every identity that John gave to himself: a husband, a partner, and a father. However, what remained stable during this time was his position as a business leader and the trust that things will improve, you just have to keep showing up.
