Body Image... a topic that most can relate to unless you want to remain dishonest with yourself. We all struggle with body image at some point in our life.. most of us suffer from it currently. The truth is, body image, self-esteem and mental health all run together. How we view ourselves plays a big role in whether we are living healthy internally. If you're like me, then your a pretty tough critic when you look at your reflection. If we can learn to love ourselves then I guarantee our world will change for the good.. forever. (53% of young girls age 13 wish they were thinner, by the time they turn 17 that percentage jumps to 78%.. this is our youth people.. #changethestereotype)

EPISODE 14 IS A 3 PART SERIES FOCUSING ON MY BEAUTIFUL CO-HOST HALIE. During Part 1 Halie covers her life up to the marriage between herself and Jay. The story consists of too much content to pack into one episode. Halie remains open to vulnerability and is very transparent with her personal battle with depression. Shining light on those who battle depression is important and I am grateful Halie embraced the conversation with such willingness. Being in a relationship with someone in addiction is not easy and the road seems to go on forever. Halie takes us through her journey from beginning to the present on Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3 of her episode of the Jay Walking Podcast. For those who want more information on the internal battle that goes on with an addict/alcoholic, this series is for you. The disease runs deep and eventually everyone involved questions their own sanity. Most importantly, we have a loving, faithful and graceful God who's redeeming power is more than we will ever be able to fathom.
