Jesus Lifted Up

Often times it can be difficult to remember we are God's house. This should never be the one thing we love saying for the sake of it. It needs to be the upfront truth. This message helps us to contrast the passion Jesus had for God's temple and the kind of passion we have in keeping the modern day temples of God which are those who have accepted Christ as LORD and Savior.

Just as Prophet Malachi said through the unction of the Holy Spirit to the priests of Levi that Jesus would be as a refiners fire and fullers' soap. We also should have the desire for day to day purification for the Lord Jesus has made us clean from sin when we accept him but the flesh still wars against the spirit. The more we have Jesus, his word, and his Spirit who is the Holy Spirit we will be ever transformed into his glorious light.

It was Jesus that proclaimed to this woman and the great men of Bethany that what she had done would be told everywhere the gospel was proclaimed. What do we in this world have to give to a Lord who wants all his children to return.
