I stopped believing in myself for a while. Couldn't find the courage to keep recording because I didn't think it was worth investing the time and energy it takes to keep going. However, here on 2.2.22 I picked myself up and set the intention to show up for myself in all ways. There are no segments, no scripts, and no pretense. Just me speaking straight from my heart, delivering a message I felt called to express. Today, we begin again. Thank you for listening.

Anger is a powerful emotion that can be used as a way of protecting yourself and/or destroying yourself. It is simply energy we give meaning to. For years anger was my go-to emotion and I irresponsibly wielded it as a weapon against those I care about. I am learning how to use anger in more constructive ways and how to be less reactive when triggered. This episode speaks briefly on how I define anger, how I'm learning to transmute it, as well as the accountability it takes to create change in my behavior moving forward. Welcome to Love Speaks! I am so grateful that you choose to stop by and listen in. This is the very first episode that I recorded via IG Live. I had no plan, nothing written down, and no expectations. I will post new episodes every Sunday! This episode was authentically created from the heart. My wonderfully talented friend Tey (@atteytey on IG) hopped in on the conversation spontaneously and I love how it all came together. Every episode will be a raw conversation meant to open us up to ourselves. I will also be promoting black/brown, women, and/or queer-owned businesses that I personally shop with and that I feel deserve a platform that supports them all wholeheartedly. I am cultivating a safe space where you can feel free to lay your baggage down and we can comb through it together. We will be releasing all that no longer serves us, learning from each other's experiences, and getting back to our true selves in the process. My aim is for us as a collective to heal ourselves so that we may heal the world. I'm excited to share my journey with you! We can accomplish everything together. I love you simply because you exist.
