Today I've got something really special for you. I recently had an incredible live Instagram session with the amazing Thais Gibson, a true expert on relationships and attachment styles. I'm so excited to share this conversation with you because we dive deep into understanding these vital aspects of how we connect and communicate in our relationships. Thais breaks down the four major attachment styles—securely attached, anxious/preoccupied, dismissive/avoidant, and fearful avoidant—and how each of these shapes our subconscious beliefs about love. We chat about how our childhood experiences mold these styles and the profound impact this has on our adult relationships. I also get a bit personal in this episode, opening up about my own journey and struggles with health and hormones, as well as my path from being dismissive avoidant to becoming securely attached. Thais shares practical strategies for identifying and transforming our attachment patterns, which I found incredibly empowering. And guess what? We even touch on the exciting idea of a dating app based on attachment styles! Plus, we delve into the crucial topics of self-validation and emotional regulation. If you're looking to understand your own attachment style better or hoping to improve your relationships, this episode is jam-packed with actionable insights. Up to 10% of people have at least one alcoholic drink every single day. For many of us, becoming our healthiest and best selves means examining our habits. One important area to consider is our relationship with alcohol. Even in small amounts, alcohol can have damaging effects on our physical and mental well-being.Alcohol is deeply ingrained in our society, making the decision to quit or cut back challenging. Our culture normalizes drinking in social settings, often using it as a stress reliever or to celebrate special occasions. This acceptance can make the journey of quitting alcohol a lonely one. That's why we're so glad to chat on IG Live with Karly Wood, a Health Coach and Business Mentor who helps moms with low-tox swaps. Next, they react to Kenyon Martin UNLEASHING on Draymond Green this weekend as the legendary power forward stood on business in his beef with the Golden State Warriors legend by spending 20 minutes on IG Live naming over 50 players, like Bo Outlaw, Popeye Jones and Reggie Evans, that he believed are better than Draymond and continued to stoke the fire of one of the most hostile beefs in this shows history. The Gil's Arena gives their take on the battle between Kenyon & Draymond and react to Draymond's comments on Swaggy P's contributions to their championship run before giving Chris Paul his flowers as the point god announced his plans to retire after this NBA Season. I went live this week on Instagram planning to “market” my new group… and instead rambled about lazy launches, shame spirals, motherhood, if-then thinking, and why I'm DONE overcomplicating every f*ckin thinggggg! This episode is extra messy and unscripted, but maybe that's the medicine? I touch on the following:Why the “if you just do this, then you'll get that” narrative is so sneaky (and quite frankly, pure bullsh*t)How shame spirals keep us stuck in freeze (and what naming them does)My reframe on marketing and why I'm calling this launch “lazy”The truth about motherhood, identity, and seasons where everything feels heavyWhat I'm experimenting with instead of forcing strategyAt the end, I share about Exhale — my 6-week support group + practice lab for heavy-hearted humans, mothers, creatives + visionaries carrying a dream of a different world… while desiring space, nuance, and nervous system nourishment to keep holding it.Exhale is a space where we slow down, name our real desires, and anchor into rhythms that actually let you keep going.

Almost half of children with active moms grow up to be physically active themselves, shaping their lifelong health in ways we can't always see. As moms juggling a thousand things, it's easy to put your health on the back burner. Healthy habits you establish now will strengthen your body, nurture your mind, reduce stress, and enhance your emotional resilience. If you're feeling stretched thin, you're not alone, and carving out even a few minutes for movement is one of the most powerful gifts you can give your family. Carving out time to exercise should begin at preconception, so that your future children have a healthy foundation. When you prioritize your well-being post-pregnancy, you're showing your children what self-care looks like and teaching them that health is worth protecting at every stage of life. Your exercise routine is more than just “me time.” It's a ripple effect of healthy habits for future generations to come. That's why we're so glad to chat on IG Live with Ayelet Gottesman, a Pre + Postnatal Educator.During this Live, we're going to discuss the lasting effects active moms have on children, ways to use exercise to help keep the brain sharp, getting back into working out postpartum, and so much more!Learn more about Ayelet's services: https://www.instagram.com/movewithbetterform/Get tested for BPA, phthalates, parabens, and other hormone-disrupting chemicals with Million Marker's Test Kit: https://www.millionmarker.com/

If your immunity feels off, your gut might be to blame. Around 70% of your immune system actually resides in your gut, making it a central player in how your body defends itself. Functional lab tests give us a deeper look beyond standard bloodwork, revealing hidden imbalances in gut bacteria, inflammation, and digestive function that traditional tests often miss. These tests enable us to identify the root causes of immune dysfunction and chronic illnesses by examining the gut microbiome and its influence on immune health.Knowing what you're looking for can be confusing. That's why we're so glad to chat on IG Live with Marla Pietruszko, a Homeopathic practitioner and Holistic Nutritionist.During this Live, we're going to discuss the gut-immune connection, how gut imbalances can result in chronic illness, Marla's favorite lab tests, and so much more. Heavy metal toxicity is more common than most people realize, and it can quietly impact our energy, mood, and overall well-being. You might be wondering why you feel tired, anxious, or just not yourself, and sometimes, the answer lies in what's happening inside our bodies. Our environment, food, and even some products we use can introduce heavy metals into our system. But here's the good news: understanding mineral balance is a powerful way to protect and support our health. Minerals act like the body's spark plugs, helping us detox and stay resilient in a world full of hidden toxins. That's why we're so glad to chat on IG Live with Nick Dorsey, a Chemistry Educator. During this Live, we're going to discuss how heavy metals impact mineral balance, the role it has on your mental health, lab testing, and so much more. After a botchy IG Live when I couldn't SEE Esin, this was delicious to LOOK into her beautiful eyes and connect heart to heart. Erin is a Holistic Psychologist, LCSW, Addiction Professional, and Relationship Expert. We dove right into our shared experiences of Female Friendship & Betrayal. While many think breaking up with a boyfriend or husband is intense… we both agreed that the heartbreak of female friendship betrayals and the pain of sisterhood ruptures can be even more intense… perhaps because you don't see them coming. We both opened up about how early family roles and codependent tendencies and how that has shaped our adult relationships, and how needing constant reassurance or connection with others can lead to losing a sense of self. It was so nourishing to connect with Esin about the complexities of therapeutic relationships, how deeply intimate and soul-connected they can become, and the struggle to maintain healthy boundaries without losing authenticity or care. We both have historically over-given to clients at the cost of our own well-being. I shared how my mentors have taught me self-first care vs. selfless care, and how time off and new practices like a month's sabbatical in Spain, flamenco dancing is helping me reclaim joy and balance. As two single women, we highlighted the importance of building friendships and romantic relationships outside of work and stop over-relying on our careers for fulfillment. We lovingly challenged each other to actively create more space for personal relationships and fun. I shared a playfully structured approach with ways I'm reparenting my inner self—including having “dinner” with her inner masculine and feminine, and putting a cardboard Jason Mamoa in my home to prompt sensual self-practices! (Decided on the poster, not the full-size cardboard after all xox) Our conversation was deeply personal, with both of us modeling vulnerability, acknowledging our wounds, and laughing through the shared journey of learning to love and care for ourselves more fully. Some bumper sticker takeaways include..."If I avoid love, I avoid pain. But if I avoid pain, I also avoid love.” "We don't want to dismantle codependency in a way where we demonize it—we just want to harness it differently.” "The source of my wholeness needs to come from inside-out, not outside-in." This episode is a beautiful, raw, and deeply human exploration of the messy, courageous journey of reclaiming self-worth, intimacy, and joy—especially for those, like Esin and I, who help others for a living. It's a reminder that even the most evolved coaches and therapists are still growing, too. ➡️ Go check out patreon.com/allanapratt for Exclusive content!
