Murder In Little Town - the Rhonda Holland Story

Downtown Littleton Colorado in the early 2000’s, a charming and peaceful community South of Denver and home to a number locally owned business, family owned shops and restaurants where locals would shop and gather. On the evening of January 17th, 2004, a local shop owner, Rhonda Holland, a 46 year old mother of two was tending to the closing duties at Seasons Gifts, her family’s business when she was brutally stabbed in the throat and left for dead in the basement of the shop. The cash register was emptied, her purse was taken and her car was found only four blocks away in the parking lot of a motel. Was this a random robbery gone bad or is this a premeditated act of violence?January 17, 2020 marks the 16th anniversary of one of Littleton, Colorado’s oldest cold cases. According to police this case was solved years ago, but no one has been convicted or even prosecuted. The primary suspect, a local Littleton man continues to maintain his innocence despite a compelling, but largely circumstantial case against him. The Arapahoe County District Attorney, at one point was prepared to prosecute, then suddenly dropped the charges. Amidst a number of strange twists and turns and odd coincidences, there are too many questions left to be answered. We believe that someone out there knows more.
