I was using a new recording setup in the last episode, and I didn’t get it right. It’s not podcast-worthy. After much deliberation, I decided to scrap the episode entirely and continue on without it. You won’t miss much –a couple battles, and a scene in which we find Maribus lying at the end of the tunnel with his throat cut. An arcana check reveals that someone recently teleported out. Having learned that Maribus shared some kind of connection with the Sons of Alagondar, the rebel group in Neverwinter, we decide not to include that part when we tell Neverember his man was chased down and murdered by Siricist cultists. He can tell we’re hiding something and pays us the base amount he promised, but takes away our Christmas bonus. The Scrooge. Third job is to trail Maribus while he's on duty. Whatever he's up to, it's going to require some serious subterfuge. Intro music: "Arise" by Lyubomir Yordanov Outro music: "The Woven Dream" by Walid Feghali. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/neverwintermondaynights/support

The spellplaguey chasm shat out a giant blob, and it's headed for Neverwinter. Someone should do something. Maybe we should just run? Not to be confused with: Diamond Weapon. Music in this episode by Walid Feghali. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/neverwintermondaynights/support

We follow the trail of corpse bits and paw prints to a delapidated home nearby the chasm. Inside they find Neverember's niece, a new face, and a threatening, disembodied voice. Our heroes begin their second quest for Lord Neverember and set out to rescue the missing soldiers, who were patrolling a small neighborhood over the wall in ruined Neverwinter. Hopefully our mission won't take us too close to the chasm, from which hordes of spellplagued creatures have emerged. Traipsing through Neverdeath, we find ourselves in front of the mausoleum we were looking for. But even if we do find the evidence we seek, how will we use it? Music in this episode by Walid Feghali. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/neverwintermondaynights/support
Neverwinter's cemetery is a known haunt for the walking dead, but Neverember sends the crew to find a symbol of his lineage. He believes may be located in one of the mausoleums in the oldest part of Neverdeath -- of course, it's only a matter of making it there alive.
