There are so many reasons why we have moved away from our inherent goodness, but it is in that goodness where we can gain our power and confidence. I identify 3 factors that play into our distraction and I give you new perspectives in each that can bring more fullness to your life. My hope is that you would take time today, if not for but a moment, to admire, to delight, and to dote in your inherent goodness. The goodness that has been there from day 1. The goodness that doesn't require anything from you. The goodness that makes you...YOU.
Feel like the day has gotten ahead of you? Do you feel like you are at the mercy of the days circumstances? Do you get to mid-day feeling empty and drained? Me too...that is, unless I've done the Morning 15! In this episode I give you 5 tips to start your day off in fullness and power. Follow on Instagram @codymayo
Pt. 1 Believe the Best In this episode I reveal the powerful nuance of shifting from believing the worst about people, places, and things, to believing the best. Believing the worst is easy, because it doesn't require anything of us. If anything, it allows us to say "of course that would happen" or "of course they would do that". Aren't we all guilty of this? Believing the worst denies us the fullness of life. Believing the best gives us the opportunity to create and receive life. Believing the best builds others up without even saying a word. Watch as I describe how a small shift in perspective can powerfully change your outlook on the world around you. Walk in love and grace. Live audacious! Something extraordinary is about to happen. How to deal with failure: Part 1 Dethrone Results. Do you feel like you are serving results or are results serving you? When you experience failure, does it too close to home? Are results defining you or are they guiding you? In this episode I focus in on how we can handle results whenever we experience failure. Take your power back and join me in getting back to work!
With no vision we carry around an extraordinary energy to BE MORE and it can become a burden leading us to wonder what could have been. In this episode I talk about how vision can be born out of great suffering, how everything we need is already available to us, how vision requires us to go all in, and I ask, what is holding you back? What is calling you to rise up? Can you see the unseen?
Episode 2: "The extraordinary power of our ordinary thoughts: how to overcome fear." In this episode I reveal how I overcame fear and became a foster parent. Is it possible that our capacity to give, to serve, to love, and to create is greater than we can imagine? Is our thought life keeping our life ordinary? Are our thoughts serving us or are we serving them? I propose that lies are cheap and don't require anything of us, where truth requires us to risk and rise up! That our very thoughts can become our construct on how we view, interact, and react to the world around us. Our thought life needs to match the person we are becoming, not the person we were.
In this episode I talk about the incredible Thich Nhat Hanh, a life time of running after the One Day mindset, understanding the fullness of restfulness, and discovering that this One Day has everything in it that we will ever need.
