I got the opportunity to have a sit down with both Tiffany and Khalil for some morning tea. We discussed the different ways the film and it's messaging was perceived to us in order to come to a collective understanding. However, the conclusion we came to turn out to be much deeper. Generally we talked about how there is a connection between black men who ghost in romantic relationships and black men who go absent in parental relationships.
