Continuing on last episode’s theme is another conversation about, what I believe to be, a critical need for curiosity as a tool for our spiritual and societal survival. This episode we speak with creative director, filmmaker and artist Margot Bowman.We speak about the role pleasure, beauty and fantasy play in this current moment, ask what is the responsibility of the storyteller in explaining our present and future, and Margot shares her list of post-corona living requirements.

I firmly believe curiosity is critical for our surivival. Whether we're talking spiritually as individuals or collectively as a society, the fruits of curiosity—competence, agency, connection, empathy, humility and more—are the building blocks of our wellbeing. And now more than ever we need to prioritize making space to be curious so we can build a better future than the past we are finally stepping out of.

This is the second half of an exploration of the interplay between work and identity through two interviews with Jesar Gabino, Co-Founder, Buyer and Creative Director of Nomad. One interview is shortly after Nomad closed in February of 2018 and one several months later. The episode is structured in this way to honour the transition periods in our lives.

We spend this episode exploring the interplay between work and identity with multi-talented director Jamie Webster. Throughout our conversation we discuss the evolution of his career, the realities of his work, and how he stays motivated and fulfilled inside and outside of work.

In reaction to the current cultural conversation surrounding women and their power, I decided to use this episode to deconstruct the relationship more thoroughly. My friend Ayisha Izmeth brought the phrase "Women of Power" to me and throughout this episode we used it tool to or a concept to prompt a new way of thinking about the way women relate to power. The aim for this episode is to discuss women's power as intrinsic aspect of our identity, rather than a reactionary response to struggle or pain.

In Episode 4 of Re:Search we complete our two part exploration into love and relationships. In contrast to Part 1, in this episode we hear from three people in committed relationships. We focus on the intentional decisions, lessons and points of realization through the relationships of three different people in an effort to understand why this relationship was a turning point in their lives. Through unpacking these stories we explore the fine balance between intention and intuition throughout the course of love.

In third episode of the podcast we are exploring the ever-complex topic of love and relationships. More specifically, we are looking at the expectations that people have for their partners and how romantic relationships have impacted their lives. For this episode you'll be hearing from 4 people from different backgrounds, genders, sexualities, ages and relationship status, Sid Singh, Amalia Raphael, Jeremy Joo and Ayisha Lineo Gariba as they recount personal and intimate stories about how love and relationships have shaped who they are today.  Part 2 coming next week!
