Part 1 of 4The last known confirmed sighting of Lorraine Wilson and Wendy Evans was on October 6, 1974. Their car had broken down and the 2 girls were hitchhiking their way back to Dubbo, from Brisbane. They were reported missing 6 days later on 12 October. It would be 2 years before their bodies were discovered in a scrub paddock in Murphy's Creek, outside of Toowoomba. Their belongings, including jewellery, were scattered on the ground around them. 7 men have been publicly named & accused of being involved including 1 deceased man labelled as one of their murderers in a subsequent inquest.
