Ben flees in the dark of night on his long trip to L.A. to find the truth about his sister's murder.  Sonja is arrested.  Banqer catches a break. (Chapters 12, 13)

Ben's memories of murder get worse and he begins to change.  Ben and Sonja spark an attraction.  Banquer digs deeper into an old case.   (Chapters 10, 11)
