2915: The Best Workout Programs Combos For Any Goal: Muscle, Strength, Fat Loss, and More

Buy one get one free, pick your combo: https://mapsbogo.com   One of the most common questions the guys is also one of the simplest: what program should I run next? It matters more than most people think. Stack the wrong two programs back to back and you leave gains on the table. Stack the right two and you buy yourself six months of near zero plateaus, real strength PRs, and a body that keeps changing every week. In this episode, Sal, Adam, and Justin stop making you guess and lay out the definitive MAPS program pairings for every major goal.   They cover advanced muscle gain, pure strength, fat loss for both women and men (and why the programming is different), total beginners and postpartum lifters, athletic performance, and the people who barely have time to breathe, let alone train five days a week. For every goal you get the exact two program combo, why that order works, what each program sets up for the next, and the most common mistake people make by skipping steps. If you have ever jumped straight into a high volume program and wondered why you burned out, this is the explanation you needed.   There is a real buy one get one free deal running right now at mapsbogo.com, and you pick the combo. $157 gets you two full programs. The guys walk through every recommendation, so by the end of the episode you will know exactly which two to grab.   In this episode: MAPS Anabolic anchors almost every combo: it builds the strength and training frequency foundation that makes every follow up program far more effective, whether the goal is muscle, strength, or fat loss. The single biggest mistake the guys see from customers: jumping straight into MAPS Aesthetic without running Anabolic first. Aesthetic's volume is genuinely high, and the body is not ready to absorb it without that base. Fat loss for women is MAPS PowerLift, then MAPS Muscle Mommy. PowerLift builds the metabolic base and preserves muscle in a deficit, while Muscle Mommy targets the glutes, delts, and lower body that women most want to keep while getting lean. MAPS 40+ trades traditional back squats for box squats and straight bar deadlifts for trap bar deadlifts, cutting joint stress while hitting the identical movement patterns, and adds specific lifestyle recommendations for the higher stress loads that come with being over 40. For beginners and postpartum women alike, the prescription is MAPS Starter, then MAPS Anywhere. Treat yourself as a total beginner no matter your training history, because the body control and positional strength you build here pay enormous dividends on every loaded program that follows. The athletic performance combo is MAPS Symmetry first, then MAPS Performance. Symmetry's isometric and unilateral work corrects left to right imbalances and builds the ability to contract and control the body that sports demand, before performance specific training gets layered on. In a fat loss phase, the real success metric is maintaining strength on the key lifts, not the mirror. Holding strength in a deficit proves muscle is being preserved even when the scale or the reflection does not show obvious change. MAPS 15 paired with MAPS Anywhere is not just for the time crunched: the guys explicitly recommend it for anyone who is overworked, stressed, or grinding five to six day splits with diminishing returns, because scaling back volume often produces better results.   Chapters: 0:29 MAPS BOGO Deal Intro 0:44 Sponsor: Vuori 1:28 Episode Overview: Best Program Combos 3:11 Advanced Muscle Gain Combo 5:49 Why MAPS Aesthetic Follows Anabolic 7:43 Strength Goal Combo 9:10 Fat Loss Combos: Women and Men 9:37 Fat Loss for Women: PowerLift + Muscle Mommy 12:05 Fat Loss for Men: 40+ and Anabolic 15:59 Beginners and Postpartum: Starter + Anywhere 19:42 Athletic Performance Combo 21:03 Time-Restricted Combo: MAPS 15 + Anywhere   Sponsors: Vuori: https://vuoriclothing.com/mindpump

The Slender Man began as two photographs and a caption, submitted to an internet forum in 2009 as nothing more than a creepy image contest. The figure in it had no face, arms too long for its body, and a caption written like a piece of found history. Within a few years, that figure had a name recognized across the internet, a following that treated the images as more than fiction, and a reputation for turning up in places far stranger than a photo contest ever intended.CHAPTERS & TIME STAMPS (All Times Approximate)…00:00:00.000 = The Foreboding00:02:02.673 = Show Open00:03:13.025 = Slenderman: Blurring The Lines of Reality, Part 100:09:24.860 = Slenderman: Blurring The Lines of Reality, Part 2 ***00:22:48.484 = Slenderman: Blurring The Lines of Reality, Part 3 ***00:34:59.166 = Slenderman: Blurring The Lines of Reality, Part 4 ***00:41:57.606 = Slenderman: Blurring The Lines of Reality, Part 5 ***00:54:09.889 = Show Close*** = Begins immediately after inserted ad breakLISTEN ON PODCAST APPS: Look for this podcast on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, iHeart Radio, Amazon Music, Pandora, TuneIn Radio, and other podcast apps. Copyright ©2026, Weird Darkness.Originally aired: March, 2022This episode of Weird Darkness traces the Slender Man from an internet photo contest into real-world stabbings, arson, and a wave of suicides on a South Dakota reservation, then weighs whether an invented internet legend can, in some sense, become real.It opens with the character's exact origin: on June 10th, 2009, Eric Knudsen, posting under the name Victor Surge on the forum Something Awful, submitted two doctored photographs as part of a contest to create convincing paranormal images. Each carried a caption inventing a backstory, one referencing a photographer "presumed dead" in 1983 and another tying the figure to a fire at the Stirling City Library and the disappearance of a photographer named Mary Thomas in 1986. The figure in both images, faceless and unnaturally tall with elongated arms, spread across the internet within days and took on the name Slender Man, along with a folklore of his own: a preference for woods and abandoned buildings, the ability to travel at will, and warning signs that included nosebleeds, nightmares, and sudden paranoia. From there, the episode turns to the Waukesha stabbing of May 31st, 2014, in Wisconsin, when twelve-year-old Anissa Weier and Morgan Geyser led their friend Payton Leutner into nearby woods and stabbed her nineteen times, telling investigators the attack was meant to prove Slender Man's existence and make them his "proxies." Leutner survived and crawled to a roadside where a cyclist found her. Geyser was sentenced to forty years to life and remains held in a psychiatric facility; Weier, sentenced to twenty-five years to life, was released from institutional care in the summer of 2021 and placed under supervision.Next, the episode covers the string of incidents that followed within months: a thirteen-year-old girl's knife attack on her mother in Hamilton County, Ohio, in June 2014; a Las Vegas shooting in which the gunman, who reportedly dressed as Slender Man, killed two police officers and a bystander before killing his wife and himself; and a house fire set by a fourteen-year-old girl in Port Richey, Florida, in September 2014, who told police she had "been reading a lot" about the character online. It also details a separate wave of youth suicides on South Dakota's Pine Ridge Reservation between late 2014 and mid-2015, which the New York Times reported topped one hundred in six months, some tied by officials to the Slender Man and to a local legend of a "suicide spirit" known as Walking Sam or the Tall Man, and a mass hanging attempt in nearby woods that a local pastor, John Two Bulls, intervened to stop. The episode also relays an account researcher Nick Redfern collected from a Pennsylvania flight attendant trainee named Lacy, who said her laptop began displaying Slender Man's face and, on one occasion, a voice, after she read Robin Swope's book Slenderman: From Fiction to Fact in 2016.The episode closes by comparing Slender Man to Spring-Heeled Jack, a figure reported across Victorian England from the 1830s onward and long suspected of being one person's stunt copied by others in later decades, before turning to researcher Peter McCue's Psychic Internet Theory and the ancient Egyptian god Ptah, weighing whether shared belief circulated across the internet might account for why so many people came to treat a fictional character as something they could encounter.

Do this before bed to calm your nervous system, support your vagus nerve, and drift into deep, healing sleep. This gentle vagus nerve reset meditation is designed to help you shift from fight-or-flight into rest-and-digest using slow breathing, soft sighs, self-compassion, and a tender full-body scan. You're invited to arrive exactly as you are—busy-minded, tired, or tender-hearted—and be reminded again and again: you are safe, you are held, you are okay as you are. In this sleep meditation you will: - Use slow, rhythmic breathing and soft sighs to send a message of safety through your whole system - Explore a somatic hug and soothing (or imagined) self-touch to gently tone the vagus nerve - Experience a warm, tender body scan with visualization, from the crown of the head all the way to sleepy toes - Ground into three points of support beneath you and feel fully held and supported - Practice kindness, acceptance, and letting go of attachment and expectations - Rest into healing affirmations such as: - I am safe to rest - My body is heard - My body's natural healing is active now - rest deeply now This practice is ideal as a bedtime meditation, sleep hypnosis style relaxation, or a nervous system reset at the end of a long day. Listen lying down or seated, let the ground meet you where you are, and allow your body to remember how to rest, repair, and heal. If your mind wanders, that's perfectly okay. Thoughts can simply float by—like leaves on a slow stream—as you are gently guided back to your breath, your body, and the steady support beneath you.

The Bible contains 66 books written by around 40 authors across 1,500 years, yet it tells one unified story centered on Jesus Christ.Tiffany and Pastor Jeff explore how God inspired human authors to write Scripture and how the early church recognized which books belonged in the biblical canon. They address the “lost books” of the Bible, explain how Scripture was faithfully preserved, and show why Christians can confidently trust the Bible we hold today.Chapters:02:03 Where Did Our Bible Come From? The Bible contains 66 books written by around 40 authors across approximately 1,500 years. Despite its many contributors, Scripture tells one unified story of creation, fall, redemption, and restoration centered on Jesus Christ.06:18 Who Actually Wrote the Bible?God is the primary author of Scripture, but He worked through real human writers with distinct personalities, backgrounds, and writing styles. The Holy Spirit guided these authors without turning them into passive scribes or removing their individuality.09:38 How Did Moses Write About Creation?Biblical events were sometimes preserved and passed down before being written. Whether information was revealed directly by God or collected from faithful witnesses, Christians trust that Scripture records exactly what God intended.11:48 Who Chose the 66 Books of the Bible? The biblical canon is the recognized collection of writings inspired by God. The church did not give these books their authority but recognized the divine authority they already possessed.13:50 How Was the New Testament Recognized? The apostles' writings were treasured, publicly read, carefully copied, and shared among early churches. The apostles also recognized one another's writings as Scripture, demonstrating that this process began during the first century.15:02 How Was God's Word Preserved? The format of the Bible has changed from handwritten manuscripts to printed, digital, and audio editions, but its message has remained the same. Generations of believers carefully preserved and passed down the truth God had given.17:35 Why Wasn't the Bible Compiled Immediately?Early churches were scattered throughout the Roman Empire, and every letter or book had to be copied by hand and physically circulated. By AD 367, Athanasius recorded all 27 New Testament books already recognized by churches.19:18 What About the “Lost Books” of the Bible?Writings such as the Gospel of Thomas and the Gospel of Judas appeared later and contradicted apostolic teaching. They were excluded because they were neither connected to the apostles nor recognized as inspired Scripture.21:27 Why Can Christians Trust the Bible Today?God has faithfully preserved His Word through centuries of copying, persecution, translation, and criticism. The Bible remains God's living Word and one unified story pointing to Jesus Christ.“ Understanding how God gave us the Bible doesn't weaken our confidence; it strengthens it. Once you see and understand the incredible story behind how we got our Bible, you'll treasure it even more.”  – Pastor Jeff Cranston

Welcome to episode #1047 of Thinking With Mitch Joel (formerly Six Pixels of Separation). Simon Rogers has spent his career turning data into stories that help us better understand the world... and ourselves. A former news editor at The Guardian, where he founded and edited its influential Datablog, Simon is now the Data Editor at Google, working with Google Trends, one of the largest publicly accessible datasets of human curiosity and behaviour ever created. He is also the co-host of The Data Journalism Podcast and a longtime advocate for open data, visualization and making complex information meaningful. His new book, What We Ask Google - A Surprisingly Hopeful History Of Humankind, explores what billions of searches reveal about our private fears, shared vulnerabilities, cultural obsessions and desire to help one another. In this episode, Simon discusses why search offers a uniquely intimate portrait of humanity... not the carefully curated version we present on social media, but the questions we ask when we genuinely need answers. He explains how searches surrounding grief, friendship, parenting, health and crisis reveal that people are often far less alone than they feel, and perhaps more compassionate than our public discourse suggests. We also explore Google Trends as a cultural and predictive signal, the communities formed through shared curiosity, and why being surrounded by data does not necessarily make us more insightful. Simon reflects on how AI is changing the language and complexity of our searches without fundamentally changing what humans want to know. What emerges is a fascinating portrait of search as a collective stream of consciousness... chaotic, vulnerable, curious and surprisingly hopeful. Enjoy the conversation... Running time: 53:45. As we approach the end of the book of Judges we find a two part conclusion to this exploration of a society where, without a king, everyone does what is right in their own eyes. The first, in Chapters 17-18, reveals what lies underneath the choices we make that take us gradually down the wrong path.  When we substitute our preferences for the revealed character and will of God, we slip into a form of “worship” that is transactional (seeking to get what we want from God) and convenient (an offering that costs nothing).  True worship is focused on who God is and what he wants, not ourselves and what we want from Him; it is an overflow of a life dedicated to following Him when it's costly.

In this episode of the Planet MicroCap Podcast, recorded a couple weeks ahead of Planet MicroCap Las Vegas, I spoke with Rick Rule - founder and CEO of Rule Investment Media and co-founder of Battle Bank - for a wide-ranging conversation on natural resources, gold, and where Rick thinks the smart money is quietly moving next. A note worth flagging before you listen: when we recorded this, Rick called gold north of $3,000 and said we were 20 years into a 30-year bull market. Gold has since crossed $4,000 - make of that what you will. We break down why Rick thinks the bull run still has a decade left, why he trimmed his junior miners and redeployed into royalty streamers, what he considers the most misread commodity setup right now, and why uranium's fundamental case has quietly changed in a way most investors still haven't caught up to. We also get into rare earths, copper, and his new venture, Battle Bank. BB28 Friday Live Feed Update July 31, 2026 Watch this podcast on YouTube! Big Brother 28 keeps everyone guessing as shifting alliances and sneaky plans make it tough to know where anyone truly stands. Hosts Taran Armstrong and Pooya break down a crucial live feed recap, focusing on the fallout from Jason’s eviction, a new HoH, and houseguests scrambling for safety. The tension centers around which side will gain momentum, as the Red Corner alliance looks to solidify its power and the outsiders search for a path forward. This episode covers the moments before and after Jason’s eviction, including Kamu's reign as HoH and the crumbling of Mallory's vote support after Drew, Barrett, and Taylor bail. Haley wins the next HoH following a close fight with Yash, shaking up expectations. Devens' diamond power of veto becomes a point of strategy—will he use it as a shield or leverage? Meanwhile, talk turns to Drew as a target, but Haley's real aim seems to be Taylor, naming her as a 1000% target and considering putting up Drew and Melody alongside her. Lyric and Yash openly jump ship from their old allies, forming a new pact and making moves to join the majority alliance. Throughout, houseguests debate whether to blindside or backdoor, while some, like Lyric, masterfully work self-preservation by cozying up to power. Taran points out how Devens plans to wield the diamond power of veto as leverage instead of chaos. Haley eyes Taylor as her main target, wanting to put her up alongside Drew and Melody, as discussed by Taran. Pooya and Taran note the growing willingness of players like Lyric and Yash to abandon failing alliances for a better shot at surviving. Drew's precarious position is flagged, as being an initial nominee often leads to eviction, with Taran predicting trouble if he stays on the block. Haley confronts Melody about personal game talk, but the confrontation ends up far less dramatic than described. With the majority alliance growing and outsiders like Lyric and Yash seeking new alliances, will anyone be able to shake up the house hierarchy, or is someone about to be blindsided once again? Jason points to Drew and Barrett as possible swing players in the middle of the house, but doubts they'll disrupt the current power structure anytime soon. As the Icons tighten their grip, the rest of the house faces tough odds. Will Drew or Barrett ever flip the house and shake up the game? Certainty in dating is a fantasy. There is no milestone, not exclusivity, not "I love you," not moving in, not marriage, that finally makes relationship anxiety go away. In this episode Sabrina breaks down why your brain would rather have a bad answer than no answer, how anxious attachment turns an unanswered text into a story about rejection, and why chasing, overthinking, testing, people pleasing, and checking your phone every five seconds are ways of managing anxiety rather than dating strategies. She also separates the two kinds of discomfort: walking on eggshells, accepting breadcrumbs, and tolerating mixed signals and inconsistency, versus asking for what you need, setting boundaries, saying no, and letting someone leave. Plus the tool of the week, evidence versus story, a simple practice for catching the narrative your brain invents when you do not have all the information. Tune in to get a detailed look at the latest moves and shifting loyalties inside the Big Brother 28 house. What if the biggest breakthroughs in mental health have nothing to do with chemicals—and everything to do with electricity? In this fascinating conversation, Darin sits down with psychophysiology and brain mapping specialist Rebecca Bassam to explore the electrical nature of the human brain. After surviving multiple traumatic brain injuries herself, Rebecca dedicated her life to understanding how brainwave patterns influence everything from ADHD and anxiety to depression, PTSD, focus, emotional regulation, and peak performance. Together they discuss why traditional mental health often overlooks the brain itself, how brain mapping identifies dysfunctional patterns, why social media instantly pushes us into fight-or-flight, and the promising future of personalized neurotechnology using microcurrent, neurofeedback, biofeedback, light therapy, and frequency-based interventions. If you've ever wondered whether your brain can truly heal, this episode offers an entirely new perspective on what's possible. What would your calendar, bank statements, screen time, and daily habits reveal about what you truly worship? It is easy to say that God, faith, and family matter most. But sometimes our routines tell a different story. In this video, we examine how good things—work, money, success, family, productivity, and even responsibility—can quietly become idols when we depend on them for the identity, security, control, or peace that only God can provide.I also share a painful moment from the birth of my first child that exposed where I instinctively turned when life felt uncertain. The problem was not simply that I was working too much. Work had become the place where I went to feel safe and in control. In this conversation, you will discover:• How your habits train your heart to love• Why the most dangerous idols often look responsible• How work can become an altar for control• What your calendar reveals about your real priorities• Why good desires can become cruel masters• How the gospel frees you from performance-based identity• One practical change you can make this weekJesus said, “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”You do not need to rearrange your life to earn God's love. Rates may vary. The Federal Reserve left rates unchanged at 3.5% to 3.75%, exactly where they were before Kevin Warsh took over, despite a 30% market-priced chance of a hike and three FOMC members dissenting in favor of one. Peter Schiff breaks down a press conference where Warsh declared "no tolerance" for inflation above 2% while doing nothing about it, hiding behind the excuse that the Fed "doesn't have a magic wand." Nobody asked for magic, just for the Fed to use the tools it actually has: higher rates, a smaller balance sheet, slower money supply growth. Warsh delivered none of them, and Schiff argues he made the same choice as his predecessors. Inflation is a choice, and the Fed chose it again. The markets rendered their verdict immediately. The 30-year Treasury yield hit 5.22%, its highest in roughly 20 years, the Dow fell 2.2% or about 1,100 points to close on the lows, and the Nasdaq 100 is now down over 3% on the week as the air keeps coming out of the AI bubble, with Meta down 10% after missing earnings and SanDisk off 30% in three days. Gold told the real story: it closed up $40 at 4,070 and never broke 4,000, because rising yields driven by a loss of confidence in the Fed are bullish for gold, not bearish. Schiff calls gold the last safe haven standing. He also covers consumer confidence at a five-year low, a $101.5 billion June trade deficit proving the tariffs accomplished nothing, and why Mamdani's government-run grocery stores will empty shelves, bankrupt private grocers in the poorest neighborhoods, and recreate Soviet bread lines in New York City.Chapters:00:00 Debt Bubble Reality00:37 Fed Holds Rates Steady03:34 Two Percent Target Doubts16:05 Q&A Exposes Inaction27:38 Markets React Bonds Stocks Gold31:45 Yields and Gold Misread35:02 Gold Safe Haven Case37:40 Fed Fallout and Data43:12 NYC Government Grocers55:42 Capitalism and Wrap UpFollow @peterschiffX: https://twitter.com/peterschiffInstagram: https://instagram.com/peterschiffTikTok: https://tiktok.com/@peterschiffofficialFacebook: https://facebook.com/peterschiffOur Sponsors:* Check out Chilipad and use my code GOLD for a great deal: https://sleep.me* Check out Fast Growing Trees and use my code GOLD for a great deal: https://www.fast-growing-trees.com* Check out Plaud AI and use my code GOLD for a great deal: https://plaud.ai* Check out Quince and use my code quince.com/gold for a great deal: https://www.quince.com* Check out TruDiagnostic and use my code GOLD20 for a great deal: https://www.trudiagnostic.comPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Rob Has a Podcast | Survivor / Big Brother / Amazing Race - RHAP

Summer of Stein Big Brother 28 Week 3 Watch the podcast on YouTube! Big Brother 28 ramps up the drama as alliances and rivalries shape eviction week 3 in the house. Host Rob Cesternino welcomes guest Eric Stein for a Summer of Stein packed with analysis, funny moments, and a look at the shifting power structure after a week of surprising moves and classic Big Brother chaos. This episode dives into Kamu's controversial HoH reign, including the fallout from Mallory's now-infamous tea party and the big house meeting that turned a social gathering into a tense showdown. With Jason fighting back against isolation, banging pots and spilling the tea on Kamu's alliances, and the looming threat of Rick Devens' Diamond Power of Veto, the house is caught in a spiral of shifting loyalties and public confrontations. Eric breaks down why following the HoH's wishes is overrated, questions the impact of the “house” mentality, and highlights the missed opportunity to use power moves when the majority is firmly in control. Social dynamics get dissected as Lyric's nomination approach stands out, Drew and Barrett's swing-vote role comes under fire, and Lala's infamous bacon-wrapped cream of mushroom soup bites generate laughs and concern about house cooking politics. Eric Stein points out that the HoH shouldn't control the house post-veto and calls the current group's deference “feckless” gameplay. Rob Cesternino highlights Drew and Barrett's crucial role as potential swing votes and expresses frustration at their choices. Eric critiques the Have-Not twist as outdated and useless, wishing production would drop it unless it actually impacts the game. Both discuss how the majority alliance keeps stacking power thanks to Rick Devens' Diamond Power of Veto, making it harder for the outsiders. The hosts compare Mallory to past houseguests like Michelle Noonan and note her boldness and potential if she gains power. With Mallory and Jason on the block and the outsiders struggling to make a dent in the majority alliance, the house's future could hinge on one big move or surprise flip. Will anyone in the middle make a stand, or will the Icons and their allies keep holding the reins? Hear all the strategy, laughs, and inside stories by listening to the full episode. BB28 Thursday Live Feed Update July 30, 2026 Watch the podcast on YouTube! Big Brother 28 lands in chaos as shifting alliances, wavering votes, and last-minute deals set the stage for a nail-biting eviction. Host Taran Armstrong leads this live feed update recap with guest Mari Forth, as they break down the intricate dynamics shaping this crucial week. With Kamu as Head of Household, all eyes are on the vote between Mallory and LaTrice—especially if Jason manages to win the Blockbuster Veto. Tensions mount as the house splits with Angela, Chuk, Devens, Haley, and Dee firmly behind LaTrice, while Melody, Lyric, Jason, Barrett, Yash, and others try to count their numbers for Mallory. Taylor’s sudden refusal to vote out LaTrice, citing personal loyalty and social repercussions, throws a wrench into vote math and alliance trust. Devens and Kamu work to shore up numbers, drawing Yash into a new “wolf pack” alliance, but Yash, ever adaptable, keeps his options open. Meanwhile, Drew and Barrett wrestle with their spots at the bottom of the majority alliance, unsure if flipping the vote is even worth the risk, and houseguests weigh the merits of throwing—not winning—the next HOH. Mari Forth spotlights Taylor's internal battle between strategy and friendship, and how it hurts her standing with both sides. Devens and Kamu use social pressure and swift alliance-building to corral the votes, pulling Yash into the mix while targeting Drew for possible backdoor plans. Barrett recognizes his weak position but hesitates to shake things up, leading to debate over whether it's smarter to stick with the majority or make a move. Vote math pivots on promises and feigned loyalty, leaving even close allies doubting who's truly in their corner. Funny moment: the hosts tease houseguests' analogies for the messy vote—waffles, crepes, even “scrambled eggs.” As the vets lock down control and fractured outsiders scrap for a lone spot, the looming Blockbuster comp and split loyalties may spark fireworks. Did Taylor make the right call for her own game, or just lose everyone's trust? Frank LaRosa says the problem with young financial advisors is not work ethic, it is training. Frank opens with a story about a young advisor he has been mentoring, a twenty-three-year-old working on the asset management side at a wirehouse who was outperforming his targets but getting dinged for small administrative mistakes. Frank explains the advice he gave him and why building your own book of business might be the harder but more rewarding path compared to joining an established team. Stacey widens the conversation into something bigger, the age gap opening up in the industry between advisors in their late fifties and sixties and the wave of twenty-three to thirty-year-olds coming in behind them, with almost nobody in the middle. Frank frames it as a barbell problem, pointing out the gap in the middle where mid-career advisors should be and explains why it is creating real opportunity for young advisors, even if most of them do not fully realize it yet. Frank does not soften his opinion on where the real failure sits. He argues that big firms preach hard work while their own people clock out at five and that most of the industry has quietly abandoned the old school training programs that actually produced successful advisors. He breaks down what real training used to look like, why cold calling still works and why rushing new advisors toward designations like the CFP before they understand the business is a mistake he has watched play out for years. The episode wraps with a direct challenge to firm owners and independent practitioners. If you are bringing young people into this business, you owe them a real system and enough time to succeed, not just a desk and a quota.   Questions answered in this episode include: Should a young financial advisor join a team or build their own book of business? What is the age gap problem happening in the financial advisor industry right now? What is the barbell approach and why does it matter for advisor recruiting? Why do old school training programs work better than what most firms offer today? What mistakes do firms make when training young financial advisors? How many cold calls should a trainee financial advisor be making every day? Why is it a mistake to push new advisors toward designations like the CFP too early?   Chapters: 00:58 Introduction: Nobody Is Training Young Advisors Anymore 01:59 The Mentoring Story That Changed Everything 03:19 Wirehouse vs Building It Yourself 08:34 You Don't Know What Hard Work Really Is 17:05 Why Firms Need to Bring Back Old School Training 21:42 Getting Younger Blood Back Into the Business 24:05 The Barbell Problem in Financial Advisor Recruiting 29:10 How to Reach Frank and Stacey   Learn more about Elite and our resources: - Elite Consulting Partners: https://eliteconsultingpartners.com - Elite Marketing Concepts: https://elitemarketingconcepts.com - Elite Advisor Successions: https://eliteadvisorsuccessions.com - JEDI Database Solutions: https://jedidatabasesolutions.com - Elite Wealth Management Insights Report: https://eliteconsultingpartners.com/insight-report - Listen to more: https://eliteconsultingpartners.com/podcasts/ - LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/elite-consulting-partners/
