April 1986, something happened to cause American students living at school on an American Air Force Base in England to be stuck on base. In reality, the ban on leaving the base was short lived. But what if it wasn’t? What if the resident students of London Central High School had to finish their high school year differently? What if many of the traditions and rites of passage they came to expect had to proceed differently? What do you do when you’re stuck? Stuck in Motion is a fictional four-episode dramatic reading that attempts to look at the theme of being stuck and moving forward.

(Setting and timeline) In 1986, an event happened in England that could have had some similarities to today. A group of American High School dorm students are not allowed to leave the local Air Force Base (where their dorms and school are housed) in response to matters of security. What if the response to that threat lasted from April to the end of the year? Instead of being in quarantine, the students are stuck at school - many of the activities that happened off base are no longer possible or must be modified. The students, the staff, the community is stuck, but they still move forward. Yet they are also Stuck in Motion for other reasons. (An original podcast by Mr. Miller of Natick High School presented by his Advanced Acting Class and guests - based on an actual high school in England - London Central High School - and based on an actual event)
