Plus, why Quinn Hughes still isn't extended in Minnesota and how it circles back to Detroit. Corinne also dives into the explosive BBC investigation into Jared Leto, discussing decades of allegations involving teenage girls and celebrity power. The show continues with updates on the mysterious death of Nolan Wells, as well as another suspicious death involving a young Black woman that has received far less national attention. Later, Corinne examines Daniel Ortega's announcement that Nicaragua will no longer hold democratic elections before reacting to newly released body-camera footage in the fatal police shooting of an unarmed teenager in Austin. Amy Odell, the journalist behind the biographies Anna, and the newly released Gwyneth, joins the show to trace how a $6.8 trillion wellness industry has learned to monetize our fear of aging. She explains why Gwyneth Paltrow's most outrageous claims may not be cynical marketing at all, connecting research on conspiracy belief and narcissistic traits to how someone builds and defends a brand.Later, The conversation turns to plastic surgery's shift from private secret to public status symbol. A facelift can change a face without changing how old people perceive it. Odell and host David Stewart also dig into the harder distinction beneath all of it: aging as a matter of physical capacity versus a matter of appearance, and why culture keeps confusing the two.Join Us at the 2026 Super Age Games! Living with chronic illness can feel like collecting diagnoses without getting real answers. Symptoms are treated one at a time, but the underlying causes can easily be missed. What if asking a different question is the first step toward feeling better? In this episode, I'm joined by Dr. Richard Horowitz, an internationally recognized Lyme disease expert and author of the new book Ending Chronic Illness. After caring for thousands of patients over more than four decades, he explains why many seemingly unrelated conditions share common underlying drivers—and why thinking like a medical detective may help uncover them. We discuss: Why treating the diagnosis isn't always the same as treating the problem—and how to start looking deeper How hidden infections, environmental toxins, gut health, and other overlooked factors can quietly drive chronic illness What new research may reveal about the links between infection, inflammation, and brain health How to begin uncovering what's really driving persistent symptoms Our bodies are constantly communicating with us. The challenge isn't that they're silent—it's that we haven't always known how to listen. Sometimes finding better answers begins with asking different questions. Continue Exploring If you'd like to explore Dr. Horowitz's work further, here are two great places to start: Take his Symptom Assessment Quiz to better understand what may be contributing to your symptoms. Hidden Killers With Tony Brueski | True Crime News & Commentary
Two witnesses with nothing in common except the same case took the stand today in the murder trial of Lindsay Clancy, the Duxbury, Massachusetts mother accused of strangling her three children — 5-year-old Cora, 3-year-old Dawson, and 7-month-old Callan — with exercise resistance bands inside the family's Summer Street home on January 24, 2023. Clancy faces three counts of murder and three counts of strangulation. She's pleaded not guilty, and attorney Kevin Reddington is mounting an insanity defense built on severe postpartum psychosis and psychiatric overmedication.First up was Angela Krause, general manager of the CVS in Kingston. She testified Clancy called the pharmacy herself asking about a specific medication. Investigators later came back with a separate request — surveillance footage from the day Patrick Clancy picked that same prescription up. Two visits, two different things police wanted to see. Then came Saria Sweeney Shelgren, a hostess at ThreeV restaurant in Plymouth, who was working the night of the killings. She testified Clancy called in an order and that her voice wasn't slurred or impaired. A man came in to collect it. Small detail, deliberate purpose — prosecutors are spending their time building an hour-by-hour account of that evening, and a clear-headed phone order doesn't leave much room for a narrative of total collapse. After the killings, Clancy allegedly attempted suicide by jumping from a second-story window and is now paralyzed from the waist down. Her husband, Patrick, was out running errands at the time and has since relocated to Manhattan. The trial continues in Plymouth Superior Court and is expected to run several weeks.Links:Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? The Biblical Teacher: Why the Church Desperately Needs Sound Doctrine – Foundational Issues Part 7 | KIB 541 Kingdom Intelligence Briefing Description Welcome to Kingdom Intelligence Briefing Episode 541 with Dr. Michael Lake and Mary Lou Lake. What does Scripture teach about the biblical office of the teacher? Why is sound doctrine so critical in an age of deception, AI, and increasing spiritual confusion? In this episode, Dr. Michael Lake continues the Fivefold Ministry series by examining the biblical calling, character, and responsibilities of God's teachers. Drawing from the ministries of Jesus, Ezra, Apollos, Timothy, and the Apostle Paul, this teaching reveals that biblical teachers are called to do far more than transfer information—they are commissioned to bring believers into spiritual maturity through faithful exposition of God's Word. Mary Lou opens the program with a timely discussion on overcoming spiritual strongholds, breaking ungodly influences, and remaining firmly established in Christ rather than the counterfeit systems of the world. Together they examine the importance of discernment, the dangers of occult influence, the proper use of technology, and why believers must continually renew their minds with Scripture. If you desire to grow deeper in God's Word and develop biblical discernment for the days ahead, this teaching will provide a strong scriptural foundation. In this episode, you'll discover: · The biblical office of the teacher · Why Jesus was called "Teacher" more than any other title · The responsibilities of a biblical teacher · The difference between information and transformation · Why sound doctrine protects the Church · The importance of study, obedience, and faithful teaching · How false teaching spreads in the last days · Biblical principles for evaluating AI and modern technology · Why discernment is essential for every believer · How teachers help equip the Body of Christ for spiritual maturity

Hidden Killers With Tony Brueski | True Crime News & Commentary
Patrick Clancy, husband of Lindsay Clancy, took the stand today in the murder trial of the Duxbury, Massachusetts mother accused of strangling her three children — 5-year-old Cora, 3-year-old Dawson, and 7-month-old Callan — with exercise bands inside the family's Summer Street home on January 24, 2023. Clancy faces three counts of murder and three counts of strangulation. She has pleaded not guilty and is mounting an insanity defense, with attorney Kevin Reddington arguing she was in the grip of severe postpartum psychosis and psychiatric overmedication at the time of the killings.Patrick walked jurors through a timeline that's supposed to explain how his wife went from new mother to someone psychiatrists were allegedly cycling through medication after medication, adjustment after adjustment, in the weeks before the killings. The detail that's going to stick with people: several of those prescriptions were reportedly taken only a handful of times before being swapped out or discontinued — a system, allegedly, that kept changing the plan faster than anyone could tell if it was working. He also described what he says were the family's attempts to get her real help, for whatever that's worth against what actually happened.Prosecutors are expected to argue Clancy understood the nature of her actions despite the defense's mental-health claims. After the killings, Clancy allegedly attempted to take her own life by jumping from a second-story window, leaving her paralyzed from the waist down. Patrick was out of the home running errands at the time and has since relocated to Manhattan. The trial, underway in Plymouth Superior Court, is expected to last several weeks.LinksJoin Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Please Watch, Comment & Like https://youtu.be/Ycc8SWfEayw?si=-PJMnjBmCqHXBWW6This week on So Nigerian Podcast, we're joined by Betty for a deeply honest conversation about losing her mum, navigating life after such a life-changing loss, and the reality of grieving in Nigeria.Betty shares how her mum fell ill for three months before passing away just days before the New Year, the emotional weight of those final months, and what it has been like learning to live with her absence. Together, we talk about the unexpected ways grief shows up, the things people say that help (and the ones that don't), and why Nigerians often don't give people enough room to grieve before expecting them to “move on.”This is a heartfelt conversation about love, loss, healing, and the reminder that grief doesn't have a timeline. If you've ever lost someone or are supporting someone through loss, we hope this episode makes you feel a little less alone.Enjoy The Episode !!
In this episode, Brig Johnson talks about the pressure to follow the “right” timeline and what happens when your life does not match the road you were told you should take. She speaks to the quiet grief that can come with missed milestones, delayed dreams, career pivots, motherhood, rebuilding, or starting later than expected. Brig also challenges the shame that says a different path means you are behind. Through her own story and practical reflection questions, Brig invites us to look at the road we are actually on and consider what may still be available to us. This episode is for anyone who has been measuring their life against someone else's timeline and wondering if they somehow missed their chance. What You Will Learn How to name and let go of the milestones you feel you've missed. Why different roads can still get you to the same destination. How to see the options that may still be available to you. How to look differently at timing, closed doors, and opportunity. Why the road you had access to is not behind, but simply different. Why This Matters This episode is a clear reminder that the timelines we were taught to follow can make us feel behind, inadequate, or like we missed our chance. Brig encourages us to stop shaming the road we had to take and start noticing what that road has taught us. By seeing value in a different road, we can begin to notice other doors, release the grief around missed milestones, and let success look different than expected. Take Action Think about the milestones you feel you've missed and ask yourself: Is the destination still available, even if that particular road is closed? Then consider what other roads you may have overlooked and what action you would take today if you fully believed there was another way to reach your goals. To stay connected and receive more insights, sign up for the Reduce the Noise Memo, Brig's weekly newsletter that dives deeper into the topics discussed on the podcast. The Bible has a lot to say about the end times, but our interpretation can vary from denomination to denomination. On Sunday, July 26, 2026, Pastor Chad Gilligan breaks down what we know the Bible says about the End Times and what we believe.
We went on a journey and let me tell you

It worked. So they built a full shoe destination on top of it.The growth that followed is hard to believe: 6 million euros the first entire year, 160 million in year two, 500 million in year three.Today Zalando does 20 billion euros in gross merchandise value across 29 countries. But Europe doesn't make it easy.Robert learned that the hard way when the TV ad that turned Zalando into a German phenomenon became "the worst ad in the Netherlands" a few months later.Same continent, completely different reaction. That's the real story of building at scale in Europe: 29 different markets, 29 different consumer psychologies, and no shortcuts around any of them.In this episode, Robert reveals:Why Europe's fragmentation is both Zalando's biggest obstacle and its strongest moatThe real reason free returns increase order value instead of killing marginsWhy Zalando builds its own tech stack instead of buying off the shelfHow AI is already rewriting the rules of e-commerceWhy he turned down a US listing and what that says about Europe's futureA rare look into a company that proved Europe can build at global scale in less than 20 years, and what it will take to do it again. You can follow Robert on LinkedIn.The GDIY15 code will get you 15% off on Zalando from €50 spent, valid until 31.07.2026 at 11:59pm.TIMELINE:00:00:00 - The flip flop test before the shoe empire 00:12:06 - Fundraising Needs a Reference Point 00:19:38 - Build vs Buy: When to Own Your Technology 00:30:24 - "Europe is the hardest market on earth" 00:40:58 - The biggest mistake Zalando ever made 00:53:11 - Why the US Out-Scales Europe 01:00:31 - Running a company is like co-parenting 01:10:12 - The Country Launch Playbook 01:19:03 - Democratizing fashion from Paris to northern Finland 01:28:54 - Why fashion is still one of the most inefficient businesses 01:36:43 - AI could turn us into a commodity 01:47:41 - Stock market : Why Chosing Frankfurt Over Nasdaq ? 02:01:52 - "Speed Is the Only Advantage That Matters in the AI Age"We referred to previous GDIY episodes : #496 - Sébastien Kopp - VEJA - Faire du business autrement#487 - VF - Anton Osika - Lovable - Internet, Business et IA : rien ne sera jamais plus comme avant#487 - VO - Anton Osika - Lovable - Internet, Business, and AI: Nothing Will Ever Be the Same Again#311 - Pascal Meyer - QoQa - Vendre un Picasso à sa communauté : quand l'e-commerce n'a plus de limite#81 - Jacques Antoine Granjon - Cofondateur VEEPEE - l'aventure, l'hypercroissance, les marques et l'instinct#11 - Sébastien Kopp - VEJA 2/2 - Réussir dans la mode en préservant le monde#10 - Sébastien Kopp - VEJA 1/2 - concurrencer Nike et Adidas avec du Développement DurableA few recent episodes in English : #542 - VO - Yoni Assia - eToro - “AI Will Replace Most Traders in 18 Months”#513 - VO - Jesper Brodin - IKEA - 40 billion in revenue empire with no bank loan#500 - VO - Reid Hoffman - LinkedIn, Paypal - How to master humanity's most powerful invention#487 - VO - Anton Osika - Lovable - Internet, Business, and AI: Nothing Will Ever Be the Same Again#475 - VO - Shane Parrish - Farnam Street - Clear Thinking: The Decision-Making Expert#473 - VO - Brian Chesky - Airbnb - « We're just getting started »#452 - VO - Reid Hoffman - LinkedIn, Paypal - L'humanité 2.0 : Homo technicus plus qu'Homo sapiens#437 - James Dyson - Dyson - “Failure is more exciting than success”#431 - Sean Rad - Tinder - How the swipe fever took over the worldWe spoke about :Fort KnoxSalesforce CRMAmazon Web ServicesN8N : AI agents and workflowsyou can see and controlLovableReading Recommendations :Delivering Happiness: A Path to Profits, Passion, and Purpose, by Tony Hsieh
In part one, Dr. Liz Bartman and I broke down why PMDD happens: the histamine surges, the GABA receptor glitch, the progesterone metabolite that either calms you down or completely wrecks you depending on your unique biology. If you haven't listened to that one yet, start there, because this episode builds directly on it. Now we get into the part everyone actually wants to know: what do you do about it? We talk about why popular fixes like DAO supplements and strict low histamine diets usually fall short, and what to focus on instead, starting with your gut, your liver, and your nervous system. Dr. Liz walks through her actual clinical protocols, including specific nutrients, herbs, and the EndoAccess formulas she uses with patients who have histamine overload, progesterone sensitivity, or both. We also get into the harder conversations: when a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor might help women who are pushing too much allopregnanolone, what's really going on hormonally for women hitting perimenopause with worsening PMDD, and yes, when birth control or even an SSRI might actually be the safest, most compassionate choice, even for someone who leans natural. Dr. Liz makes a case that will challenge how you think about "first, do no harm." This episode is about giving you an actual roadmap, not just information. Because once you understand your own biology, from part one, you can finally stop guessing and start treating the right thing. In This Episode, We Cover: Why DAO supplements and strict low histamine diets usually don't solve the problem long term The gut, liver, and nervous system focused approach Dr. Liz uses first with patients Key nutrients and antioxidants for calming histamine and neuroinflammation, including glutathione support, sulforaphane, green tea, pomegranate, curcumin, NAC, and glycine Why alcohol is one of the biggest hidden disruptors of histamine clearance and hormone balance Specific probiotic strains, including lactobacillus plantarum, and their surprising role in GABA receptor expression The EndoAccess formulas Dr. Liz uses clinically for histamine support and for progesterone sensitive PMDD, including early results from a small group of patients What 5-alpha reductase inhibition is, how it relates to allopregnanolone, and when it may help Why perimenopausal women can suddenly develop worse PMDD, and the surprising role of testosterone, insulin, and FSH The honest conversation about birth control, newer options, and when it may be the safest choice for severe PMDD Where SSRIs fit in, including luteal phase only dosing and what to support alongside them Why the nervous system piece is the part most women skip, and why it may be the most important one Who This Episode Is For This is for women who now understand why they're struggling, from part one, and want an actual plan. It's for anyone who has tried supplements or progesterone with no luck and felt like they were out of options. It's especially for women in perimenopause noticing their PMDD or PMS getting dramatically worse, and for anyone who has felt conflicted about whether birth control or an SSRI could ever be the "right" choice for them.
