JaiHawk breaks down all things Atlanta Hawks on Overtime Media. Overtime Media; Your Sport. Your Team. On your time. Overtime is a Sports Podcast Network covering Sports leagues and teams with entertaining and insightful podcasts.
The new and improved Atlanta Hawks are alive after this very exciting All-Star break. Trae Young is going to shock the NBA world. Our rookies are coming alive and playing at another level. We have 25 games remaining and the Hawks are coming off of an amazing win over the Miami Heat. Don't be surprised if the Hawks make a run for that 8th spot in the Eastern Conference. Rest In Peace Kobe Bryant, Gianna Bryant, and the other families involved in the tragic helicopter crash.
The Atlanta Hawks have been on a skid lately in the win column, but Trae Young has been showing up every single night. Cam Reddish and De'Andre Hunter are perfect pieces for the Atlanta Hawks and we won the trade with the Dallas Mavericks when we traded Luka Doncic for Trae Young and draft picks. I do have a question about our rebounding, limiting the second chance points, the turnovers, and the lack of effort from our veteran players. A lack of effort has been showing in many games and its unfair to our fan base, but these dark days will soon be sunny skies once our core unit is fully together. I told you guys about Damian Jones and Jabari Parker and how they would bring energy to the Atlanta Hawks. The future is very bright for the Atlanta Hawks and Trae Young will be labeled as TOP 5 in the NBA. Watch! #TrueToAtlanta
The Atlanta Hawks have been on a 10 game losing streak and it has not been pretty at all. In the midst of this storm, Trae Young became just the 2nd player ever in the NBA History to have 2000 points and 800 assist in their first 100 games. Trae Young has been playing out of his mind averaging 28 points for the season. Cam Reddish and De'Andre Hunter are still growing. Damian Jones has been flying higher than Delta. Jabari Parker is a great fit for the Atlanta Hawks' future along with Deandre' Bembry. Just wait until Kevin Huerter and John Collins comes back. This will be a different team. #TrueToAtlanta
The Atlanta Hawks did not win last week, but Trae Young had a triple-double, De'Andre Hunter was out of his mind, Cam Reddish is coming alive, Jabari Parker has still been a force, and we are still without John Collins and Kevin Huerter. Even without a win last week, the Hawks have still shown that they are going to be very special for years to come. Deandre' Bembry is still being slept on, but as time goes on, the NBA will see exactly how special he is. Special shoutout to Vince Carter. He is amazing. #TrueToAtlanta
Trae Young has set another record and continues to show how special he is as a player for the Atlanta Hawks. Cam Reddish is still learning the NBA game and will be perfectly fine. Damian Jones is a monster on the court. Cant wait to see him and John Collins on the court together. Jabari Parker has been playing on another level, but who is shocked? I'm not. Hawks are currently 11th in the Eastern Conference sitting at 4-8. KEEP THAT SAME ENERGY!
In this episode, I talk about the Atlanta Hawks roster for this season and how each player's effort play a significant role in developing into the best team in the Eastern Conference. We are still in rebuild mode so I do not have high expectations, BUT this team is not to be slept on.
