Send us a textGiannis Antetokounmpo may be leaving Milwaukee after their playoff disappointment, despite the high hopes for his pairing with Damian Lillard. I break down my top seven landing spots for the Greek Freak, analyzing how each team could create a championship contender with him.• Memphis Grizzlies could trade Ja Morant and pair Giannis with Desmond Bane, Jaren Jackson Jr., and Zach Edey• New York Knicks would create an intriguing trio with Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Giannis• Minnesota Timberwolves could form the "next Shaq and Kobe" with Anthony Edwards and Giannis together• Golden State Warriors offer the perfect culture fit with Steph Curry's spacing benefiting Giannis tremendously• Los Angeles Lakers could pair Giannis with potentially Luka Dončić to create the greatest international duo• Atlanta Hawks would transform Trae Young and Giannis into a devastating pick-and-roll combo• San Antonio Spurs ranked #1 with the Wembanyama-Giannis frontcourt potentially becoming the best international duo in NBA historyLike, subscribe, and comment – tell anyone who's anyone about the show and help get our ratings up!Support the showhttps://linktr.ee/GetABucketShow for more content!!!

Send us a textWe explore why the NBA should change its playoff format from the current conference-based system to a true 1-16 seeding regardless of East or West. This change would create better matchups, make the regular season more meaningful, and ensure the best teams make the playoffs.• Current format separates Eastern and Western conferences with 8 teams from each making playoffs, plus play-in teams• NBA has changed playoff formats multiple times since the inaugural 1947-48 season• A 1-16 format would create exciting potential matchups like OKC vs Hawks (Shai vs Trae Young or teams like the Clippers vs Pacers)• Conference-based playoffs limit cross-country travel but more entertaining matchups outweigh this concern• Regular season would become more important with teams competing for top 16 spots overall• Play-in tournament should be eliminated as it rewards teams that weren't good enough in regular season• Better matchups would lead to higher viewership and a superior basketball productPlease make sure to like, subscribe, comment to anyone who's anyone about the show. Munaf Manji and Mackenzie Rivers talk NBA playoff betting for the firs round. The guys break down each series and give out predictions and best bets. In the “NBA Playoffs 1st Round Preview + Best Bets” podcast, Munaf Manji and Mackenzie Rivers deliver a detailed analysis of six confirmed playoff matchups. Starting with Bucks vs. Pacers, they highlight Damian Lillard's Game 1 absence and potential Game 3 return. Despite Indiana's strong finish and better trendline, both lean Milwaukee in six games, citing Giannis' dominance, Halliburton's road struggles, and playoff pedigree. Munaf mentions Doc Rivers' questionable playoff history and the Bucks' edge in rebounding and roster depth. Next, Knicks vs. Pistons shows New York as a clear -400 favorite. Mackenzie highlights Detroit's weak half-court offense and inexperience. They agree Jalen Brunson is the best player in the series and pick Knicks in five, suggesting -2.5 games as a value bet. For Celtics vs. Magic, Boston is a -5000 favorite. Mackenzie acknowledges Orlando's improvement to 17th in offense post-All-Star despite losing Jalen Suggs but criticizes their three-point shooting and sees Game 1 as a blowout. Munaf agrees, pointing to Boston's depth and perimeter strength. They recommend a Magic team total under and predict a sweep or five-game series. Clippers vs. Nuggets is the tightest series, priced at -110 each. Mackenzie is hesitant to trust Kawhi Leonard's health but notes the Clippers were strong late season. He values Denver's playoff-tested core of Jokic, Murray, and Porter Jr., even with coaching changes. Munaf favors the Clippers in seven games, citing Ty Lue's ability to adjust and Harden's solid season. Both suggest betting the series after Game 1, with Denver favored by 2.5. In Lakers vs. Timberwolves, Munaf backs the Lakers based on star power and playoff history. Mackenzie points out their mediocre net rating and questions public overconfidence. He critiques Julius Randle's poor playoff stats and remains skeptical of Minnesota's secondary scoring. While Mackenzie sees potential in the Timberwolves, he passes on betting them now. Munaf lays the four points with the Lakers, expecting a statement in Game 1. In Rockets vs. Warriors, the hosts praise Houston's growth but highlight their lack of playoff experience. Mackenzie notes Golden State's poor half-court offense but trusts Curry and Green's pedigree. Munaf calls it a development year for Houston and picks Warriors in six. They mention the low total for Game 1 and expect another under, given both teams' tendencies. Mackenzie's best bets are Knicks -7 and Trae Young under 26.5 points vs. Miami, based on historical defensive matchups. Munaf echoes the Knicks pick and supports Lakers -4, banking on home energy and playoff urgency. For Heat vs. Hawks, Munaf leans over on Miami's team total, while Mackenzie prefers fading Trae Young. They note past eighth-seed play-in games are 6-1 to the under. Let's Make Fans Matter Again! Welcome to day two of the Great NBA Reset. Jason and Jay Skapinac (aka Skap Attack) dive into potential off-season solutions the NBA could implement to create even more compelling content off the court. The NBA fan base has been completely overlooked. The media, once the voice of the fans, is now treated more like the players. But it's the fans who fuel the NBA engine — never bite the hand that feeds you. Before that, Jason and Skap break down the two play-in games from last night. The Orlando Magic blew out the Atlanta Hawks, with Trae Young getting ejected in dramatic fashion. Meanwhile, Jimmy Butler and Steph Curry delivered the final blow as the Golden State Warriors ended the Memphis Grizzlies' season. Do Orlando and Golden State stand a chance in the first round of the NBA playoffs? In other news, drama follows the WNBA Draft, as TCU point guard and former teammate of Angel Reese Haley Van Lith is selected by the Chicago Sky. Van Lith doesn't seem thrilled about reuniting with Reese. Meanwhile, Rich Paul — LeBron James' longtime friend and agent — joins "The Pat McAfee Show" and reflects on LeBron's Miami Heat days, claiming there was never truly a “Big Three” since Chris Bosh took a backseat role for the team's success. Jason's not alone in rejecting a Stephen A. Smith presidential run — Charles Barkley also gives it a firm “hard no.” And Travis Hunter tells the media he still plans to play both ways heading into the 2025 NFL Draft. Hour 1 Boomer is ill and his voice is weak after attending what might have been Matt Martin's final Islanders game last night, where they discussed his career. Before Jerry's update, a caller offered a snake-related throat remedy for Boomer. Jerry has the audio of the Mets' loss to the Twins due to a Francisco Lindor error and strikeout. The Knicks/Pistons playoff schedule is out, starting Saturday, Monday, and Thursday. Travis Hunter implied he'll only play football if he can play both offense and defense. Gio then shared the story of Rosie the turkey from Roosevelt Island seeking a mate in the city, leading to a discussion about catching turkeys and calls from those who have encountered them. Hour 2 Juan Soto noted he's being pitched differently without Aaron Judge batting behind him, which Gio sees as an explanation, not an excuse. Boomer viewed it as a compliment to Judge, not a slight to Pete Alonso, while Gio thinks sensitive fans are overreacting. Soto's presence benefits Alonso. Before Jerry's update, Gio reminisced about old wedding invites, followed by audio clips of Jerry discussing divorce. They joked about using a Chef IQ to check Boomer's fever. The Yankees won, and Matt Martin played his emotional final home game for the Islanders, with goodbye audio clips from various sports figures played. Finally, someone on X shared a Vegas flu story similar to Boomer's, and Boomer had a lunch meeting where Gustav Klimt was discussed. Hour 3 Wally Szczerbiak believes the Knicks should dominate their series, implying locker room issues if they don't. Gio thinks Karl-Anthony Towns has a big chance to prove his championship mettle and shed the "soft" label with multiple high-scoring, high-rebounding games. Before Jerry's update, they used the Chef IQ and found Boomer has a 102 fever, leading to a clip from 'Back To School' referencing Gustav Klimt, who Gio supposedly resembles. Jerry recapped the Mets' loss, Yankees' win, and NBA news. The hour ended with Gio discussing a Karen Read documentary on MAX. Hour 4 Bill Belichick and his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, are receiving attention, and a reporter obtained Belichick's emails via the Freedom of Information Act. Gio joked about Hudson's potential post-breakup career in bikini betting picks. They discussed the controversy surrounding a Braves reporter asking a girl for her number on air. Jerry's update covered the Mets' loss due to a Lindor error, the Yankees' win, and Trae Young's ejection. Evan Roberts is confident the Knicks will win their series. The Nets GM discussed their free agency targets. Shedeur Sanders' Steelers interview attire caused debate, which Kay Adams addressed. The Moment of the Day involved using the Chef IQ to check Boomer's fever. The show concluded with a discussion about Matt Martin's likely final Islanders game and how fans treated him, compared to Rangers fans and Chris Kreider, followed by talk about a 400+ lb NFL draft prospect.

With just eight players available, the shorthanded Philadelphia 76ers gave the visiting Atlanta Hawks all they could handle but fell short in the end, 124-110. The Sixers received plenty of contributions from the guys that suited up with all five starters in double-figures led by Jared Butler's 25 points and a career-high 20 for Marcus Bagley. Colin Castleton added 16 points and eight rebounds off the bench for the 76ers. Trae Young turned it up in the second half with 23 of his game-high 36 over the final two quarters -- Caris LeVert went off for 31 in a reserve role for the Hawks. Philadelphia will host the Chicago Bulls for the season finale on Sunday afternoon.
