    Ivy Insights

The Packernet Podcast is a must-listen for all Green Bay Packers fans looking for smart, analytical, and funny commentary on their favorite team. Host Ryan Schlipp delivers a daily podcast that keeps fans engaged and entertained, even during the off-season. From the draft to the regular season, this podcast provides interesting and informative perspectives that set it apart from the majority of other Packers podcasts in the Packersphere.

One of the best aspects of The Packernet Podcast is the host's ability to bring a slightly different perspective to Packers analysis. With his smart and analytical approach, Ryan Schlipp presents opinions that are backed by facts, often from sources like Pro Football Focus (PFF). He delves into player analysis, business decisions in football, and provides insights into various aspects of the game. His train-of-thought delivery style adds a fun and engaging element to each episode.

However, one downside of The Packernet Podcast is that the host tends to go on tangents about comments he reads on social media that can last for 20 minutes or more. While these tangents may be entertaining for some listeners, they can become repetitive or distracting for others who prefer more focused discussions. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to another unfiltered night on Packernet After Dark. Fans are fired up as one caller drops a controversial bomb: the Packers themselves are partly responsible for all the Caleb Williams hype after that playoff choke and onside kick disaster. Plus, backup QB debates, tight end contract talk, and classic After Dark banter. Brick Lombardi fires up the vacuum tubes, dims the lights, and drags us deep into the shadows on this Tundra FM edition of Packernet After Dark. The draft told some of these men they weren't the answer. Four rounds of silence, cold stares, and closed gates. They didn't break. They kept the receipts, stepped on the grass, and decided every franchise that passed would pay in full. We break down the raw grind of the player who was named twice and denied twice, now leaving 17 sacks and 25 tackles for loss in his wake. Then it's Baron Sorrell season — the golden-yellow stalker off the edge who turns offensive linemen into statues and quarterbacks into prey with bad intentions and lightning speed. The Hunter rises next, the monster who lurks in the backfield, brings psychological war, and leaves no mercy or trace when he strikes. Finally we spotlight Matthew Golden's breakout, the longhorn who shook off the cold, the injuries, and the quiet year to rise above it all and make the Lambo sing. Pack Nation, Ryan Longwell sat down and gave us the real truth about what it takes to kick at Lambeau Field. Not the stats, not the spreadsheets — the way the field actually breathes, the wind off the water, the feel that lives in your bones. Darlene put it plain the other night: some places you visit, but Lambeau is the kind you live with. You don't calculate the wind, you listen to what the field is telling you before you kick. That's the edge Green Bay still has, and Longwell is one of the last ones who can hand it down before it's gone. This is why we are not everybody else.

Pack nation, Brian Nearing is hanging it up after 49 years on the equipment staff. This ain't just some retirement announcement - this is the soul of the building walking out the door. He was there through every coach, every GM, every wave of players. In a league that treats culture like something you install with a spreadsheet, Brian Nearing was the guy who remembered it all. I got to thinking about Gary Pledge and his snow removal business, and how some people just show up no matter what. That's the same reason Brian stayed 49 years - because somebody had to make sure the equipment was right when the team came out of that tunnel. The real ones never need the spotlight. Green Bay will be fine because the kind of people who built this place are still here, still treating it like a promise. Go Pack Go.

As the Packers wrap up mini camp and send most of the team home for the third week of OTAs, the conversation focuses on Keisean Nixon's leverage, the media frenzy that exploded from old comments, and what it all means for Green Bay's cornerback room heading into training camp. Key discussion points include: How a January quote and a recent Jason Willdy media clip on ESPN Milwaukee got twisted into "breaking news" about a potential holdout The clear parallels to Elton Jenkins' situation and why the Packers are unlikely to offer meaningful concessions to a near-30 corner with one year left Why Brian Gutekunst and the front office have little reason to change the structure they already built into Keisean Nixon's deal Practical advice for Keisean Nixon: show up, lead in the locker room, earn respect from teammates and coaches, and let the agent handle the business side without creating toxicity This episode is brought to you by PrizePicks! Brick Lombardi opens the set with Brinson Macht Krieg, a war anthem built around Warren Brinson — calculated violence, target acquired, tackle sequence executed. The machine runs in green and gold, and quarterbacks are the ones who learn to heal. Then the temperature drops. Creeping 2 turns Lambeau into exactly what visiting teams fear: a frozen graveyard where Lombardi's ghost still walks the halls and every outsider eventually falls. Brick doesn't soften it — die by the frozen field, die by the cheesehead shield. The set turns toward what's coming with Destined, a straight declaration that Green Bay's moment has arrived, and closes with The Holy Right — a reminder that the scoreboard is just the receipt, the fight itself is the prize. Brick signs off the way he always does: you were never alone out there. Go Pack Go.

LMTYS: Keisean Nixon Holdout Talk Is Clown Behavior

Let me tell you something, Packernation. Sitting here with my coffee hearing this nonsense about Keisean Nixon holding out and I almost spit across the room. June? We're still two months from pads popping and already floating this dog talk like it's serious. This ain't how we do business in Green Bay. You earn it between the lines. Tucker Kraft cleared with zero restrictions, only thing on his mind is week one. That's the standard. Green Bay doesn't negotiate with drama. No prima donnas here. If Nixon's even entertaining this, he's showing us exactly who he is. The money comes from beating the guy behind you so bad coaches have to play you. Holding out makes you look small. You either show up, shut your mouth and earn every dollar between the lines or watch somebody younger and hungrier take your spot. There is no middle ground.
