The Packernet Podcast is a must-listen for all Green Bay Packers fans looking for smart, analytical, and funny commentary on their favorite team. Host Ryan Schlipp delivers a daily podcast that keeps fans engaged and entertained, even during the off-season. From the draft to the regular season, this podcast provides interesting and informative perspectives that set it apart from the majority of other Packers podcasts in the Packersphere.

One of the best aspects of The Packernet Podcast is the host's ability to bring a slightly different perspective to Packers analysis. With his smart and analytical approach, Ryan Schlipp presents opinions that are backed by facts, often from sources like Pro Football Focus (PFF). He delves into player analysis, business decisions in football, and provides insights into various aspects of the game. His train-of-thought delivery style adds a fun and engaging element to each episode.

However, one downside of The Packernet Podcast is that the host tends to go on tangents about comments he reads on social media that can last for 20 minutes or more. Hello, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome once again to the Packernet Podcast. I am your host and resident fanalyst, as always, Cal Hutson. Check us out online, packernet.com. You can also support us at patreon.com/pack_daddy. So on the docket today, we are going to dive deep into some comments from Head Coach Matt LaFleur regarding the starting offensive line. Apparently, that unit is currently in flux, which is a significant concern heading into Week One. We'll also hit on a routine, but important, roster move, and briefly touch on some news we just couldn't quite get our hands on from the Twittersphere. Let's jump right into the most pressing matter, because frankly, this is the foundation upon which any successful offense is built: the offensive line. Head Coach Matt LaFleur indicated that the starting offensive line is currently in flux. This isn't just a minor shuffle for depth, folks. The uncertainty, according to LaFleur, stems from legitimate questions about whether Aaron Banks and Zach Bako-Bewele are capable of playing full games. [beat] That phrase, "capable of playing full games," is critical. It implies a potential lack of sustained availability or conditioning, and that creates, in his words, a "lot of moving parts" within the unit.

Pack Nation… Big Sal from Peshtigo here. I'm in the recliner, the coffee's already gone cold for the third time today, and my wife just walked past, looked at the TV, and said, "You're talking to yourself again." I told her it's not talking to myself, it's talking to Packer Nation. There's a difference. She rolled her eyes and kept walking. That's love right there. Alright. Let's talk about the last eight hours or so, because apparently the Packers can't just have a quiet Wednesday. They signed long snapper Scott Daly and brought Lenny Krieg back on the practice squad. Krieg's the German kicker. International spot. Necessary. Boring. But necessary. You know what else is necessary? A running back who can actually play in Week 1. And right now that job is staring MarShawn Lloyd square in the face. Support my coffee fund at patreon.com/pack_daddy

Alright Packers fans… Cal Hutson here. Welcome back to the Packernet Podcast Network. If the last few days felt like the NFL hit the pause button and then immediately hit fast-forward, you're not alone. The 53 is set. The practice squad is basically done. And now we're staring at a regular season that starts in less than two weeks with a whole bunch of "we'll see." So let's talk about what's actually happened in the last handful of hours and what it means for the future. First, the practice squad got a couple more pieces today. Long snapper Scott Daly is in. Kicker Lenny Krieg is back on the international spot. That's the boring but necessary stuff that keeps the special teams room from turning into a circus. Kedon Solovis is already here as the third quarterback after McCord got shipped to Miami. A bunch of the guys who got cut Sunday are back on the practice squad — Strong, Mosby, Kenion, the usual suspects. It's the standard "we like you, just not enough to keep you on the 53" club. Brick Lombardi here on Tundra FM. We heard Tucker Kraft say it himself in the digest today: "I will be on the field to play for the Green Bay Packers, regardless of any contract situation, because I love this team." That's the kind of commitment you can't fake. In a league where money talks louder than anything else, that's a statement that needs its own song. It's about more than the paper; it's about the name on the front of the jersey. We don't have a song that quite captures that defiant loyalty, that willingness to play through a contract dispute because the team and the locker room mean more. LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHIN, PACK NATION! Are you hearing this? Are you processing what this man, this absolute specimen of a Green Bay Packer, Tucker Kraft, is saying? It is unbelievable! You got players across the N F L holding out, demanding trades, pouting on the sideline because their third cousin twice removed did not get the right parking spot at training camp! But not Tucker Kraft. No, sir. This man, he is standing tall, you understand me? He is saying, "I am here. I am playing. Contract situation? We will handle that. But I am playing for the Green Bay Packers." That is the kind of dedication that makes you want to run through a brick wall for a guy. That is what wins championships. Listen to me –  in this day and age, with all the money, all the agents, all the noise, you get a guy like Tucker Kraft who says, "My heart is with this team, with this locker room, with these fans," and it just… it hits you right in the gut. It reminds you why we love this game, why we bleed green and gold. It is not about the zeroes on the contract, is it? It is about the grit. It is about the commitment. It is about the fact that when things get tough, when the lake ice starts to crack in January, this man is going to be there, ready to play. That is the kind of player you build a dynasty around. That is the kind of player who becomes a legend in Green Bay. I am not making this up, Pack Nation. This is not some fluff piece from a beat writer trying to fill column inches. This is a grown man, a professional athlete, putting his team first. It is a rare thing, and we need to recognize it. We need to celebrate it. Because when you get a locker room full of guys with that kind of mindset – guys like Kraft – that is when you start stacking up those Lombardi trophies, you understand me? You do not need twenty-two, thirty-two of them. You just need enough of that core, that foundational group, who say, "This means more to me than just a paycheck." And Tucker Kraft, he is at the top of that list. Please support us over at patreon.com/pack_daddy

Hello, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome once again to the Packernet Podcast. I am your host and resident fanalyst, as always, Cal Hutson. Check us out online, packernet dot com. So on the docket today, we have some interesting notes around player commitments and contract situations as we get closer to Week One, a few roster moves, and unfortunately, a bunch of articles that, for some reason, the internet decided we were not allowed to read. But hey, that's just how it goes sometimes, you know what I mean. Let's dive right into the biggest news of the day, and it's a good one, folks. We're talking about Tucker Kraft. [building] Now, according to Bob on Reddit, who seems to have the inside track here, the hope is that Tucker Kraft will have a new deal before Week One. That would be fantastic, obviously. We all want our guys locked up. But here's the kicker, and this is what I absolutely love: Kraft explicitly stated, and I quote, "I will be on the field to play for the Green Bay Packers, regardless of any contract situation, because I love this team, and you can't replicate this locker room anywhere else in the N F L."  Look, that is exactly the kind of player you want. That is the mentality that wins championships, people. Not the "me first, pay me now, hold out because I deserve it" bull crap we see so much of in the league. This is a guy who understands the value of the team, the culture, the locker room. And again, this show has said it a million, billion percent: a strong locker room, a real team culture, that is a competitive advantage in the N F L. It is not just some touchy-feely vibe analysis. It matters. It absolutely matters. Gutey builds with guys like this, and it shows. Please support us at patreon.com/pack_daddy

Hello, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome once again to the Packernet Podcast. I am your host and resident fanalyst, as always, Cal Hutson. Check us out online, packernet.com. So, on the docket today, we have some interesting takes from around the N F L world, touching on our Packers, of course, and then a good bit of trash talk about our division rivals. Anywho, let's get into it. First up, Andy Herman over at PackADay, he is raising some eyebrows about the Josh Jacobs situation. Herman said, quote, "this is not the normal procedure for a misdemeanor like this. Usually they let that play out and then cast judgment after that. But that's not the case with Josh Jacobs. Why that is, your guess is as good as mine. Are they hesitant about one of the charges? Do they have access to the video? Do they know something we don't know?" I am gonna be honest, folks, Herman has a point. It is not the normal procedure. When we talk about fairness and transparency in player discipline, the N F L often works in mysterious ways, and sometimes those ways feel a little bit like a double standard. If there is more to it, if there is video, if there is something they know, then it needs to come out, because otherwise, it just looks… off.

If you thought cutdown day was just gonna be the usual "sorry kid, it's a numbers game" and a couple of quiet releases… nah. Gutekunst and the front office turned Sunday into absolute chaos. Trades flying, the league dropping a bomb on the running back room, and the 53 coming together in the most 2026 Packers way possible. Let's break it all down the way we do it here – real talk, no fluff, just the stuff that actually matters as we head into the regular season. First, the heavy one. Josh Jacobs is on the Commissioner's Exempt List. Official. The NFL put him there after the misdemeanor charges (battery and criminal damage to property) that came out of that May incident. He's paid, he can be around the facility for meetings and workouts with the team's permission, but he can't practice and he can't play. Only Roger Goodell can take him off it.

The Pack is in Denver for preseason game number two, and Big Sal cannot sit still. Forget the twenty-eight to nine we ate in Pittsburgh — that was one loud drive and then the battery light. Tonight's the first look at whether there's a real motor in this football team. Sal's got a list, Pack Nation. How long does Jordan Love actually play, because with the starters likely sitting the Lambeau finale, this Denver evening might be the whole preseason for number ten. Does rookie kicker Trey Smack — already three-for-three with a fifty-eight-yard bomb in his pocket — launch one into that thin Mile High air and rewrite the record book. And the one that keeps Sal up at night: with a possible seventh receiver spot on the line, which bubble guy grabs it — Isaiah Neyor or J. Michael Sturdivant — and which one goes home. None of it counts in the standings. All of it counts for the men on the field. Peshtigo's finest is locked in like it's a playoff game — because to somebody out there tonight, it is. Subscribe, leave a review, and share it with the buddy who says "it's just preseason." Sal cares too much. That's the whole show. LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHIN, PACK NATION!

The phones lit up with everything from smoked chicken recipes and pajama debates to real heartbreak, while the football talk got raw about the running backs, Aaron Rodgers' possible last dance in a Steelers uniform, and the ugly truth on the interior offensive line. Packernet After Dark delivered the unfiltered mix of laughs, prayers, and strong opinions that only this show does. Bruce drops the excitement on the RB room (Jacobs the bruiser plus the young electric piece) and why watching Rodgers against the Packers feels like a full-circle moment Jared shares a brutal week—losing his grandma, saving then saying goodbye to his 15-year-old dog, and his wife's cochlear implant surgery—and the family sends prayers Deep dive on PFF grades, TDs allowed by Valentine, Walker, and Nixon, the St-Juste opportunity, Zaire Franklin's fit, and whether the secondary finally has real depth Mike and the crew dig into the guard problem: Monk, Burton, Belton, Banks, and Sean Rhyan, the hope for Morgan at tackle, and why this OL still keeps people up at night This episode is brought to you by PrizePicks! Big Sal sits down with the latest closed practice notes and gets excited about the Packers defensive line playing multiple techniques on the same snap. He explains how that flexibility keeps the whole front fresh, reduces substitutions, and sets the team up for success while Micah Parsons works his way back into the lineup. The discussion takes a personal turn when Sal recounts his eleven year old daughter tackling a big school project by shifting between tasks without missing a beat. The parallel to the defensive line is impossible to ignore. The Packers walked out of the Steelers preseason game mostly healthy, Smack drilled long field goals, and the defense's front looked nasty—but the back end and a few personality issues left plenty to talk about on this After Dark call-in show. Callers celebrated zero major injuries, Smack's 57-58 yarders, and solid special teams coverage while fretting over secondary depth and Cise playing special teams. Then "Where I Belong" goes big and sincere — alternative metal where team loyalty and flag loyalty turn out to be the same thing. We slow it down for "Smooth Audibles," a chipmunk-soul spring postcard about roster surgery made to sound easy. And we close with "The Punishment Was Me," a chain-gang blues about a certain corner hunting for somebody to blame and running out of suspects. Four songs, one host, zero hype. Go Pack Go.

Tucker Kraft caught four passes and scored a touchdown in practice, and Big Sal is convinced this is the moment the Packers offense starts looking like the freight train he has been promising. Jordan Love suddenly has another reliable target in the middle of the field that changes how defenses have to account for the seam. Sal compares Kraft's return to his neighbor Gary Pletcher fixing a broken snow plow hitch during a brutal Wisconsin storm, getting the job done when things go wrong instead of waiting for perfect conditions. When this offense gets everybody healthy at the same time, Sal says there will not be a defense in the NFC ready for what Green Bay is about to do.
