Hosted by Marley Rockwood and Supriya Jaya. Each week these wacky ladies talk and gab about Musical Theatre. Unqualified to give our opinions, but you'll get them anyway.
Marley Rockwood & Supriya Jaya
We can't stop saying Beetlejuice now that we've heard this score. What a funny, well written show. Marley goes in on Lin Manuel with some... interesting criticism, and Soup sobs over "Click." How much more can we entertain you?
Obscure... we know. But, maybe just the right amount of obscure? We're still not sure. Marley gives us some insight into why this show may be a success. Where Supriya... just isn't having it. We don't recommend taking the time to pull this up on Youtube.
Fester can Fester right on off this week. Marley tells all about Soup's tragic pee story, and Soup admits she's a pathological liar. Overall, we love this show and would LOVE to see it live.
We have officially entered Spooky San here at Title of Smoke. This is the first of our Spooky San Theatre Reviews for the entire month of October. Marley lets everyone know how much she LOVES this show. (It may or may not be in her Top 5.) Soup on the other hand... Well—she got a little lost in the sauce this Ep. Overall, we worship Sondheim and could never review this show justice.
This week Marley & Soup suffer from listening to Tarzan: The Musical. We make sure to bash children artists, and tell the world how terrible Phil Collins is at writing musicals. Overall, we hated this show, and hope you hate it with us!
This week we talk about the INFAMOUS West Side Story. Marley and Soup debate on whether Sondheim is an orphan or not, and things get WEIRD at the top of the show. Overall, we LOVE this show, and are so happy we reviewed it.
On this weeks episode we go down to the swamp and kiss Shrek right on the ogre mouth. Marley and Soup discuss everything from the Tony's performance to our own personal experience with Shrek. Final opinion is; Shrek rocks our socks.
On this week's episode we take you for a ride on the Phantom Express. Marley and Soup discuss what slaps and what puts us straight to sleep in this show. We don't love A.L.Dubbs, but we gotta give credit where its due.
