David Gornoski starts off the show by explaining how our economic system cannot be called a free-market due to the numerous regulatory hurdles put in place by the government. “We’ve been conditioned like Pavlovian dogs,” David says as he points to the inversion in our economy which says freedom is slavery and slavery is freedom. We don’t need inversion, we need innovation. Also in the show, award-winning journalist Alec Klein and author and publisher Eric Kampmann join David Gornoski for the first-ever of a series called Trail Thoughts. Alec talks about what motivated him to start defending the wrongfully convicted while Eric expands on the importance of storytelling.
