Greg and Angela Quigley were married in 2006. During their planning process, they took to the web as many brides and grooms do to find out more about local vendors. They soon realized there weren’t many online resources for the wedding industry, especially in the Milwaukee area. “We jumped on Google when we got engaged,” Greg recalls “...and at that time the only thing that came up was a big national wedding website. It wasn’t that good. We didn’t like it.” That’s when the two decided to buy the domain marriedinmilwaukee.com and began developing a platform that would help connect brides and grooms to wedding vendors in the area. “We are a local wedding company that has a website and social media properties that we use to connect couples to local wedding vendors,” explains Angela.

From developing audience personas to turning blah-blog posts into content that converts visitors to prospects to leads to customers, Nick and Second Flight Academy are an essential resource to getting started in the digital marketing world. Producer's note: The audio gets a little weird at the end; we were up against a rather noisy vent fan.

They're also fickle people, and they have odd ways of working, and they rarely thrive in a corporate environment."
