Young people aged 12-24 are being encouraged to avail of grant funding of up to £500 to host events in this summer’s Youth 19 Arts Festival. The festival is a new initiative in the Derry City and Strabane District Council area to bring different types of talent together into one big celebration of arts and culture. Young people are being urged to apply to The Youth 19 Arts Festival support fund to host any initiative that celebrates arts and culture including performances, exhibitions or discussion forums. The festival will take place from June 26th – July 7th and the core audience of all activities will be the 12 – 24 age group.
