Nick Aldis retains the NWA World's Heavyweight Championship at Into the Fire, but stares down a visitor whose motives aren't clear.
It seems like every wrestling organization on the planet was having a major show in the New York/New Jersey area G1 Supercard weekend. Everyone except All Elite Wrestling, of course. The guys covered nXt and G1 Supercard last time around and this time they will dig into Major League Wrestling's Battle Riot II, as well as their previous big show, Intimidation Games. Plus, the National Wrestling Alliance is still alive...kinda...and put on a joint show with Ring of Honor this past weekend, reviving the Crockett Cup to crown new NWA Tag Champions and all of their other titles were on the line, as well, including Marty Scurll trying to wrestle the NWA World's Heavyweight Championship away from the completely mediocre Nick Aldis. The guys will discuss that, as well.
Close to two hours of content coming your way in Episode 7 of the Young Lion's Perspective! In this episode, I discuss why I feel the Roman Reigns Initiative in WWE continues to fail at every twist and turn. I also talk about this initiative hurts not only Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose, but the main event and midcard title scenes as well. We also talk about the amazing episode of NXT that occurred last Wednesday including the main event between Undisputed Era vs Pete Dunne & Ricochet. Finally, I go over my review of the All In event that happened in Chicago over the weekend and discuss what I thought was Match of the Night, who shined most on the card (besides everyone?), the historic match between Nick Aldis and Cody Rhodes for the NWA World's Heavyweight Championship, and much, much more. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/younglionsperspective/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/younglionsperspective/support
