After two years of work, we're finally bending the curve and getting attention in the courts for our reformative programming. We offered 5 names of detainees for this new initiative who spent 6+ months in Recovery Pod and proved themselves. Two were knocked off the table quickly and we negotiated with, "alright, we'll trade you those for a Rick Swain, because with this pilot, no Swain, no gain."

DOC pushed him out the door with zero support inside and zero support upon community re-entry.
