Interview with Author, Mary Conway Sullivan " WHAT THE FARM?"

What a joy to interview author, humorist, friend and BAYarts Board President Mary Conway Sullivanvon on her new book  "What The Farm?"  A personal journey of one woman's perspective, jumping into her husbands dream of owning a farm in mid-Ohio. A blending of humor and heartfelt charm as Mary helps her husband's dream become a reality. A reality of chaos that collides across 250 acres of endless possibility. My read of "What The Farm?" took me back to my earlier readings of Erma Bombeck books I have always enjoyed. Laughing out loud as I turned each page. Enjoy the laughs Mary and I have on this fast paced podcast as she talks about her new book and expands on some of the many relatable, touching, and occasionally profane stories that capture farm life's essence while delivering universal truths that hit home. Or should I say, hit barn?" AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE  ON AMAZON   link https://a.co/d/cXCtVW2

    Craig & Brian's Fist Podcast

My nephew Craig is a very funny guy. It runs in the family! (lol) Craig has always wanted to do a Podcast with me. (flattered) Him and 1,000 other people. But the thought of doing a fun conversational Podcast with Craig always did intrigue me. He's in his early 30's. I'm still a teen. How could it fail? So when I learned that today (September 30th) was National Podcast Day I called him up early in the morning with my equipment running and surprised him. Craig didn't disappointme. He's quick, insightful .. and he still laffs at his uncles bad jokes.  Don't get to excited about listening to episode one, and who knows if there ever will be an episode 2.  I only challenge other Aunts and Uncles out there to do something special with your nephew or niece. That is something I can guarantee will be enjoyable! And a memory that will last a lifetime.  Hopefully your lifetime, cause it would be tragic if it was unfortunately your nephews or nieces being they're a lot younger than you. (sick thought) Sorry

    Brian & Joe Lost Show - December 14th, 1998

As I attempt to achieve a more minimalistic life, (yeah right!) I was going through boxes of past Brian & Joe Morning Show aircheck cassettes and noticed this particular tape. It was labeled “December 14th, 1998.”. 22 years ago almost to the date! Back when Joe and I were doing mornings at Cleveland's New MIX1065. With 2020 being the year it’s been, I thought, "What the heck. I’ll share this "scoped aircheck for anyone who might appreciate hearing it." It sure made me smile while digitally transferring it. Now a scoped aircheck is an in-studio cassette recording of a radio show that records the show in progress every time the jock's microphone is turned on. It’s void of the songs being played and all the commercial breaks. Basically the opposite of where radio is heading now.No Air Talent - Just Music and Commercials. (lol) Back in the day, the scoped aircheck was used to listen back to a show with the program director during after-show meetings for critiquing purposes. So, if you're in the mood to go back in time and away from 2020 for a brief period, this could do the trick. I hope you enjoy listening to the Brian & Joe Radio Show as aired 22 years ago on December 14th, 1998. Air Time Flies. Happy Holidays! Merry Christmas!Brian Fowler
